Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah, related a story about an incident that he and his friends experienced back in 2013.

Taufik was driving his friends home after supper at about 2am, and the group were at the junction of Bukit Timah Road and Eng Neo Avenue, when one of his friends felt nauseous and wanted to alight.

So he turned into a smaller road heading towards Turf City, and his friend alighted, before going to the side of the road where there was a small drain that led to a bigger drain.

Taufik and his other friend remained in the car, chatting with each other.

However, Taufik soon noticed that his friend wasn’t puking, she was just sitting by the bigger drain.

He then became worried that she might fall in and went up to her, trying to get her to move back to the small drain.

But the girl then returned to the bigger drain and said:

“Poor thing! That girl in the drain, she’s puking there all alone…”

Taufik looked to see what she was referring to but he saw nobody there, and his friend didn’t look nauseous at all.

He then recalled his grandmother and aunties once telling him about how things get really quiet and still and where is a ghost nearby.

He looked back at his friend and this time, he saw that she was lying on the ground.

He then carried her back into the car.

The girl sat inside the car, looking down with her long hair hanging over her face as the rocked back and forth.

The group then started saying some prayers, which resulted in her squirming and either laughing or crying, he couldn’t tell.

When they drove away and finally reached her block, Taufik said some more prayers and somehow it did the trick, the “thing” was finally out of her.

The girl came back to her senses and appeared lost, asking him:

“Why didn’t you stop just now? I told you I wanted to pee!”

Taufik, by now scared out of his mind, told her “okay, have a good night.”

He said that he didn’t even want to walk her up to her door.

He then called her sister and told her what happened, to which her sister called him back later that night and told him that the girl kept wanting to return to the drain because the “girl” that she saw was all alone and asking for help.

During an Instagram livestream with fellow actors Christopher Lee, Chen Hanwei and Zhang Yaodong; actor Shaun Chen shared a spooky story with the group.

He shared that when he was filming The Journey: Tumultuous Times in Penang, he went back to his hotel room to rest for the night after a day of shooting.

The hotel that they were staying at wasn’t exactly new.

He was so tired that he fell asleep after filming.

In the middle of the night, he felt that there was someone touching him, but he couldn’t move at all.

He said that it felt like there was someone pushing him down.

He then mustered up all his strength and turned over, scolding the “ghost” immediately.

He said that he knew there must’ve been something “dirty” in the room disturbing him, so he started scolding the entity and it worked.

The ghost disappeared.

Love 97.2 DJ Violet Fenying shared about a spooky experience she had at the old Mediacorp campus from 2016.

She had wanted to take a selfie of herself in her sponsored outfit, so as to credit her sponsors, so she put her camera on timer and posed for a few pictures.

The next day, while she was on holiday with her family, she browsed through her gallery to delete some unwanted pictures taking up space in her phone.

She then saw the photo that she took the day before and was speechless.

She had captured an apparition wearing period clothes, and the figure was headless.

She then asked the wardrobe department if anyone had borrowed a costume from them, but they said no.

Budiman Shah Mohd Noorel Azman, 36-years-ols pleaded guilty to one count of sexually exposing himself.

He was released from prison earlier this year (February), before reoffending again on 29 March.

He was previously jailed 19 months for flashing himself to 3 minors, including an 8-year-old girl.

For his latest offence, Budiman was sentenced on 16 June to 11 months and 20 days jail.

What happened?

Budiman was walking towards Newton MRT station on 29 March at around 7.30am when he spotted his target, a woman.

He then walked towards her and pulled down his tights to expose his genitals.

After that, he spotted a 9-year-old girl and her mother walking towards a bus stop, he then pulled down his tights again and exposed himself near an advertisement board at the bus stop.

The girl’s mother then chased after him while recording a video as the man fled the scene, she then alerted the police.

An NUS undergraduate shared how his (we’re gonna assume the netizen is a guy for writing convenience) parents are horribly irresponsible financially.

He shared that his parents gambled, took loans and incurred huge debts; to the point the family was almost homeless when they lost their family home.

He wrote that through it all, his parents still expect him to shoulder their financial burdens and basically washed their hands off the matter.

He lamented having to use all the money that he earned working part time while studying, to pay off their bills and loans.

He summed up his post, saying that he hates his irresponsible parents and wishes he was born into a better and wealthier family.

Workers’ Party (WP)’s Jamus Lim was conducting his daily walks at Anchorvale with He Ting Ru, to ensure that the cleaning transition between the cleaning contractors were going well.

The duo then noticed a resident trying to move a heavy sofa on his own.

Lim, dressed in his (now) trademark and unmistakable grey polo-tee, was then seen helping the resident lift the sofa and loading it up onto a lorry.

Netizens were understandably lauding them for their service to the community.

A 16-year-old boy who claims that he is straight and supports LGBT, shared about something “bad” that happened to him.

He wrote that he is interested in female fashion and wants to enrol in a beauty course so that he can do makeup and manicure on himself.

But he laments having conservative parents.

He shared that he was scolded for getting a manicure, with his parents saying:

“There’s a difference between male and female fashion.”

“Red nails so ugly.”

“All of these things are only for girls, you’re a MAN!”

“Stop being a girl.”

He then wrote that all these things “show that toxic masculinity happens” and that he hopes he isn’t the only Singaporean boy who experiences them.
