Today I arrived home from work but was shocked to find my overseas parcel from Japan lying outside my house unit main gate. OMG how can singpost do this to me.
There was no call from them informing me about my parcel arrival, even though no one was at home. Instead of issuing a notice slip for me to collect at the post office the next working day, they just happily dump my parcel at my doorstep.
What if the parcel was stolen during my absence? Who is going to bear for my loss! Singpost, please educate yr staff not to do this again. You are delivering to a public HDB estate, how can you just leave the parcel on the public corridor. Please have a sense of responsibility towards yr customers.

Refrain from keeping large sums of cash and valuables at home; and
Install a burglar alarm, motion sensor lights and/or close circuit surveillance cameras to cover the access points into your premises. Ensure that they are tested periodically and in good working condition.
It seems that now you not only need to have a camera for your car, but also for your own house.
A video shows a man walking suspiciously outside a HDB estate before looking towards the shoe rack. He then casually starts to look at the shoes available for him.
It is unsure whether he did steal the shoes or it was not up to his taste. House owners, please avoid leaving your shoes outside your house.
Is this how anyone would discard their cat? 😡 Throw it out together with its litter??? We won’t know if cat was already dead when thrown by the river side or if it was sickly and died after being left there.
AVA is investigating the case now. Poor kitty was found along the bank of Sungei Api Api next to Blk 514 Pasir Ris St 52. If anyone has information on who the owner of cat might be, please message me or call AVA 1800 476 1600 to let them know.

After our flight was announced delayed, this guy started drinking heavy. About 20 minutes into the flight he started becoming aggressive and had to be restrained after all of this kicked off.
The delay caught a lot of commuters off guard with the display showing an additional 30 minutes to reach your destination.
The issue was known to start Tuesday morning, (22/01/2019), somewhere between 730am – 930am between Woodlands and Yew Tee MRT due to a train fault.. For those who are not following SMRT’s twitter, they do not have immediate knowledge of the current status of the trains.
This has caused some uproar among citizens in Singapore, questioning the recent increase in fares. Some citizens were late for appointments, some could not get information on bus services and some has indicated the flawed design of the train stations when it comes to overcrowding.
As the MRT is vital for Singapore’s point-to-point travelling, what is the best solution to ensure that this does not happen for years to come?
