MEN SENDS CAR FOR GROOMING. END UP EXTRA 272KM MILEAGE

12312312PLEASE BE AWARE! AND SHARE THIS INFORMATION!

I had handled my car to Glozz Factory Mobile Car Grooming Services for spray paint and internal grooming job on 03rd November 2018 (Saturday). Before I handed over my car to the company, I took a picture of my Odometer. I collected my car at my work place on 8th November 2018 after I came back from Overseas. I had a shock as my odometer clocked 272km! There is no way my car can be driven for 272km to travel between workshops!!

I called Glozz Factory boss, Mr. Andy Goh, and confronted him. He checked and admitted that my car was driven into Malaysia by his business partner’s son (Shawn). The partner had a company named Chng Brothers Motor Services. His business partner is Mr. William Chng. Andy told me that there was a lot of cigarette ash in my car when he did the internal grooming on 07th November 2018, one day before handing back the car back to me. I also realized that the memory card on my car camera was being pulled out and forgotten to slot it back to original position. My car sound system bass was adjusted to maximum level. I made a police report and an arrangement for met up with all 3 of them. It was admitted that Shawn and smoked in my car, blasted my sound system and drove into several parts of Malaysia. William said that his son still young, will make mistake.

Oh please 20 plus years old and telling me he is still very young will make mistake?! I demanded that a compensation have to be made for breach of contract and my car was being misused. Andy just told me that he will not be involved as he wanted to protect his company’s reputation, and asked me to settle with William individually.

The car was handled to Glozz Factory and Andy wanted to pushed the responsibility away, which shows that he has no INTEGRITY and RESPONSIBILITY at all. Ok, so William agreed to pay me a certain sum as compensation and informed his lawyer to prepare the private settlement letter. He told me that the Lawyer need my IC, so I scanned a copy to the lawyer firm. I called him several times, and asked when the letter will be ready. He just said lawyer preparing wait lor.

Now he mentioned that the Lawyer need my Police Report to prepare the letter. The lawyer is currently trying to “buy” my police report, as I am not willing to send my police report to his Lawyer. I called the Police and they told me that there is NO WAY to buy a person police report due to confidentiality. These 2 persons basically have NO BUSINESS ETHICS at all.

BEWARE OF THESE 2 COMPANIES IF YOU ARE A CAR LOVER. DO NOT SEND IN YOUR CAR FOR GROOMING OR SPRAY PAINTING. YOUR CAR MAY BE USED WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT!!!

SINGAPOREAN ENCOUNTER TOUR SCAM IN PHILIPPINE

2345678[PLEASE HELP TO SHARE & BEWARE OF SCAM]

I went on a 5d 4n holiday to Cebu with 4 of my girl friends and engaged a driver (Jeffrey Subing Subing) Archilles Oddyssy to take us around the island for the entire trip. We found him via recommendation from a Friend. We paid via bank transfer of 27500Pesos as he told us it includes both Driver’s fee as well as help us in booking for our accommodation and it covers our itinerary for the trip as well. It seemed like a pretty good deal for us initially.

However, upon arrival at Cebu Mactan Intl Airport, he was late and we waited an hour for him to arrive. We were promised a van but two separate mini cars came to fetch us instead. His excuse was that his van was ridiculously being towed away.

After check in, we were supposed to go for our city tour as promised in the planned itinerary but he told us it cannot be done given the limited time left for the day. Ended up, he brought us to a wine shop as a substitute but 5 of us had to squeeze into a very small car.

On the way back to our apartment after that, we were discussing about the plans for the next day and what places are covered for the trip when he asked us to pay extra 1250 Pesos and “entry + misc + Govt fees” to go to Bohol. When we asked why we had to pay all these fees at last minute notice, he got agitated, raised his voice and banged his steering wheel in anger as means to frighten us and requested rudely for the balance payment. He also locked the car door during the heated argument. We were afraid so we paid him in the end.

The following day he arrived late 30 mins and introduced us to his Friend (Known as Thomas) who drove us for the trip instead. We were going to tour South Cebu and do canyoneering that day. The trip was going well for that day until canyoneering when Thomas requested us to pay for the activity again, claiming he did not receive the money we paid from Jeffrey, our previous driver. Also, he requested extra 7500 Pesos (SGD202) after canyoneering saying because we “exceeded” our playing time when he did not give us a timing. We engaged another new driver and trip coordinator after this as Jeffrey went MIA. So we had to engage a whole new driver and pay for all the activities that were previously paid for in our plan. We eventually ran out of money and had to change currency multiple times. Ended up some meals also had to skip. We reported to police but they weren’t of any help to us.

We are looking forward to this trip but after all this had happened, we are dispirited and felt so depressed for the whole trip.

All in all, because of all that scamming that happened, it would be good to note to not pay people full amounts before the trip.

MAID STEALS MONEY AND PHONE. EMPLOYER GOES THROUGH S*IT

32456432456743I would like to share what I had encountered and hope that if anyone come across the same as me please think twice before you act.

I took a transfer maid and she came my house on 25/10/18. Somewhere in November 18, I noticed that my $1 coin (total amount abt $300) is missing but as I have 3 kids. Therefore, I give The Maid benefit of doubt. On 17/12/18, I received M1 bill and realised that my SIM card which was brand new( tag with house broadband ) has been used. Total data used was 7.9 GB which cost $85.60. For the past 2 years, there is no charges at all. I searched for the SIM card within my house however I can’t find it. I started to suspect is The Maid who did it but I didn’t say anything.

On 18/12/18, my elder Daughter found a Samsung Note 4 (my friend spare phone) in between the 2nd and 3rd mattress which The Maid is sleeping on every night. My gal tried to on the phone but there is a password which was set by The Maid therefore my gal was unable to unlock it. My gal was able to recognise that phone belongs to my friend. Immediately She informed me about it. I took a day leave and rush back home. I then Brought her to The Maid agency. Initially when the agent confronted her, she denied stealing and claimed that she don’t know anything. When I told her that if she don’t unlock the HP password I will go to any HP shop to unlock the password but all charges will be bear by her and I leave her to the agent. A while later, my agent told me that she had admitted to steal the HP. My agent told me that she will let me decide if I want to make police report. At the same time, my agent explained to me that I will have to pay $15 per day (lodging fee), if police want agency to bring her back during investigation period. It might takes up to 6 months time which will cost abt $2,700. After consideration, I decided to make police report and she was brought back by the police.

Around 11pm, my gal managed to find a bag inside a cupboard where we put all the clothing. Inside the bag, there were a total of 24 $1 coin, I informed the SIO who in charge. (She say they have strong evidence at their end)

On 19/12/18 at 6.20pm, I received a call from the SIO and she told me that the case has been concluded. A warning was given to her. I ask her did she admitted she steal, she say yes and when I ask abt the money. She claimed that unable to recover. (but we managed to find $24) I told her I want to bring The Maid back since only warning was given to her but she said under MOM, I am not allow to bring her back and kept pestering my agent to bring her instead. ( instruction given to my agent was I will bring The Maid myself)

On 20/12/18, I called MOM to make a check as I did not cancel her work permit and MOM say if I didn’t cancel her work permit I am still the employer so I have the right to bring The Maid back and continue working with me or transfer her. I make several complaints to the police department regarding the outcome and where is my maid (48 hrs pass) but no 1 responded until at 6.09pm, I received a call from the police side telling me that my maid is at the embassy as no 1 wanted to take her.

Now I need to have either a police investigating result or make another police report ( to proof that maid is with police since 18/12/18) in order to claim back my loan. I also need to cancel her work permit, get a special pass, buy an air ticket and bring all her belongings to embassy.

Initially I thought that the police will charge ( at least learn their lesson) that’s why I make the report. If I would know the outcome is a warning, in order to minimise my loss sorry but to say we should just throw back to agent (agent will transfer her to others household)and not report to police. After reporting, we are just making ourselves suffer more loss and busy for nothing. No matter how unhappy u are with the outcome their reply is just pushing here and there.
