This morning went to Waterloo street the Chinese temple to pray. As I were walking towards the temple,there are a few incidents that I need to share.

First of all, there is this chinese old lady standing there asking people for money to have her meal, and from her accent she should be from China.

Next there was this woman in a electric wheelchair chasing after a young lady to ask for donations and she insist the young lady to donate $20.

With so many if these people around, how come our government is not doing anything about it and why no police doing patrol at this area?

According to a recent police media release, it is always be reminded to not believe calls that claim to be someone of authority. Most of the times, the ones calling are scammers that just wants to take your money.

Police report below:

Between September and October 2018, officers from Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre successfully prevented three women and one man, aged between 19 and 28, from falling prey to the China Officials Impersonation Scam.

The four individuals had received unsolicited calls from strangers claiming to be government officials and were informed that they had committed criminal offenses and were required to assist in investigations. The callers then requested them to deposit money into a specified account via a cryptocurrency cash deposit machine, in order to resolve the matter.

The officers had come across the four individuals during their engagement with members of the public to raise awareness on scams. The officers’ intervention prevented a total loss of $5800 by the four individuals.

The Police would like to advise members of the public to take the following precautions when they receive unsolicited calls to transfer money or provide personal information:

• Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions. No government agency will demand payment through an undocumented medium like a telephone call or other social messaging platforms (WeChat or Facebook), or ask you for personal banking information such as your internet banking passwords. 
• For foreign residents receiving calls from persons claiming to be police officers or government officials from your home country, please call your Embassy/High Commission to verify the claims of the caller. 
• Refrain from giving out personal information and bank details, whether on a website or to callers over the phone. Personal information and bank details such as internet bank account usernames and passwords, OTP codes from tokens, are useful to criminals. Do not make any funds transfer at the behest of such callers. 
• Call a trusted friend or talk to a relative before you act. Do not be pressured by the caller to act impulsively.

A regular grab booking tuned out to be violent a violent after 50-year-old Francis picks up a passenger a passenger at Turf Club in January.

It happened at late afternoon on the 12th of January, Mr. Lim who did not stop directly in front of the man Gregory David Blackwood-Lee at Turn Club Road. But stopped at the taxi stand instead.

Blackwood-Lee was angry at the taxi driver and started swearing numerous profanities at Francis.

Francis Replied

“Sir, Dont F**** ME”

Francis stopped the vehicle and explain to Blackwood-Lee. Unfortunately, Blackwood-Lee was not happy with his explanation and started to taunt the driver.

“Do you wanna bring it on bruh? you wanna bring it on? You want to fight?”

Cabby: “I dont want to fight… I just want to let you know”

Blackwood-Lee slap him and asked if the cabby want to fight him again.

Blackwood-Lee was given a fine of $5,000.

I believed in retribution. That’a what happened to the man who kicked my cat’s leg till she’s limping. He’s the one too who kicked all the food & water that the cats feeder gave to the community cats at my plc.

How we knew? My hubby saw him but he quickly ran up. He ever confessed to my daughter that he hated cats. It happened so fast that my hubby didnt manage to record his evil doings. Told my mother about it.

She prayed that the evil man will suffer the same & walahh…one week later we saw him on a wheelchair. Till now he’s still on the wheelchair unable to walk.

I have mixed feelings for him.

Pity & anger. May God bless him with gd health & hope he realised his mistakes. What goes around comes around.

The 32 year old Singaporean was charged with using criminal force on a woman to outrage of modesty.

The security guard attacked his victim, 32, at 5am at Wandervale condominium. According to the reports, he tried to kiss her, followed by cutting her shirt and pulling down her pants and underwear down to the highs. He is also accused of voluntarily causing fear of instant hurt by holding a pair of scissors and telling her to be quiet.

The incident was reported only 40 minutes later on the 4th of November. A total of 17 police vehicles and 50 officers were sent on the scene, including the anti-riot PRU. The suspect was only caught 6 hours later while they were conducting a search-and-rescue.

If found guilty, the suspect can be jailed for up to 10 years.
