I was on the way back to Singapore after a trip and it happens that my bike broke down. As I have sent my bike to this shop before, I thought they could assist me with the issue.
As I am riding an older bike, I would totally understand that they do not have the parts for it so I offered to purchase any parts that they require. The shop informed me that they are currently short staffed and it would take a while.
The mechanic then informed me of all the faulty parts that I needed to get. I had to get some of my parts overseas. They provided the link of the item description and I duly went on to purchase the item. I have provided them the items after the items have arrived for delivery. They then began to tell me that I have purchased the wrong part. This was after they were the one who said it was OK in the first place.
They took their time to do my bike and left me uninformed despite him having my number and knowing me personally. I would constantly have to chase and he would only tell me the issue when I went down to ask him on the status.
This went on for 2 months until I decided that enough is enough. I told him since he cannot do, I have decided to bring the bike back to Singapore via tow and I told him to fix everything back to how it was.. He agreed with me. I was on my way home from another place in JB when he told me that he will charge me for the workmanship via text. I was shocked when he told me the amount was 1K RM.
I told him this is not right as he did not even fix my bike. His rationale was that he opened my engine twice just to see if he could fix the issue and that he has done some custom parts. I told him that the custom parts are useless as it did not work but he said he has already sent for engineering. He stuck by his word and did not budge.
I was getting frustrated and I told him to let me tow my bike back to Singapore first and I will pay him the following week when I go JB again. He was skeptical and afraid that he would not see that money despite him knowing me for a few years as I have been a patron at his shop. I assured him but he still insisted that I send the money before the tow comes.
When the tow truck brought my bike back to Singapore, I was shocked. He did not fix my exhaust back in, he has left some parts in the open and just put everything in a plastic bag. I went to call him and gave him a earful. He started stuttering and initially said if I send it to another bike shop in Singapore, they would have to dismantle it anyway.
I told him that I gave him the instruction to fix it back to how it was but he kept saying he did not hear me say that.
The tow truck guy left me with some word of wisdom. Singapore mechanics, although from Malaysia, are taught from a school whereas JB mechanics often learn from experience.
After a post titled about “Breaking News: Singapore Lee Hsien Loong Becomes 1MDB’s Key Investigation Target — Najib Signed Several Unfair Agreements with Hsien Loong In Exchange for Money Laundering” posted online. The internet went into a frenzy and comments were going everywhere with different opinions.
“The High Commission of the Republic of Singapore in Malaysia would like to categorically state that this article is fake news and clearly libellous,”
The origin of the post was sourced from States Time Review. States Time Review is currently operating in Australia.
Singapore was one of the pioneers to act on the 1MDB incident. Currently, the website hosting this news is still active.
When approached, he mentions that “i have been tying my dog to the halal rack for a long time already, there is no problem”.
For those of you who has been living under a rock, Muslims believe that the snout of the dog is dirty and should it be touched, you would have to cleanse yourself. So generally, the fear of dogs come part and parcel of being a Muslim.
So imagine the horror when someone who wants to return the tray to the tray return area, sees a dog tied to that area.

The outbreak has spread over 1,800 people since September and the number is rising. There are also reports of death, including among children, as they were not vaccinated.
The areas that are largely affected by this areas include Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. The cause of the outbreak is because people are rejecting the vaccines as they do not believe that it will protect them from it.
If you know someone who is heading out to Thailand, please advise them to go to the doctor to get a vaccination before the trip. This is to ensure that they are safe there and do not come back with measles that could spread across this tiny island as well.
On 05/11/2018 at about 2.30pm I left my hdb block and walked to the bus stop for my lunch appointment. Usually it takes me about 7 mins to walk from my house to the bus stop.
I smoked while walking to the bus stop via the open space car park and apparently I was being followed by 4 NEA enforcement officers. I was already done with my cigarette before I reached the bus stop and intended to throw the stub in the bin at the bus stop. I did not stub it out per se, but my cigarette had already stopped burning.
Unfortunately for me, the only way to reach the bus stop was via a covered walkway. The moment I set foot in the covered walkway, a man stopped me from behind and said that they are from NEA and I was caught on camera and asked me for my IC. A female officer joined him a few seconds later and I saw her holding a camera. Then another 2 more officers joined them, another male and female. They were all in plain clothes and subsequently took out their ID tag.
I explained myself to them and they said they saw me from awhile ago and followed me all the way. So I asked them if they saw that I was walking under the blazing sun. They said yes they saw me walk via the car park and they understand that I have no intention of committing the offense but they have “no choice but to enforce the law on me”. I tried to show them my cigarette stub as it was not burning but they did not bother to even look at it. They said that no matter what, it is a lit cigarette and I should stub it out and throw it in the bin. FYI, all the bins in the area were all under shelter.
I requested to check the camera for the video evidence they claimed they had but they said that they couldn’t show me. All they said is I could write in to appeal my case. I wanted to take photo of their ID but they didn’t let me do so. When I wanted to take down their names to appeal they refused to let me do so as well. At the end I only managed to take down 2 names ie. Anbarasan A/I Paramesevan & Vellan A/L Nagaraju. The 2 female officers refused to let me take their names at all. Especially the lady with the camera.
No mercy was given and I was slapped with a $200 fine for a first time offense.
National Environment Agency (NEA) I understand that your officers were in their words “just trying to do their job” and I would gladly pay up if I did smoke under the shelter. But I would like to highlight the fact that I DID NOT smoke under shelter and was actually trying to get to the bin at the bus stop to throw my cigarette stub away.
If I did commit the offense, I would gladly pay up. No second words. But in this case, I feel extremely unfair that such an injustice is being done to me. I don’t think I should be penalized for trying to do the right thing which is to throw my litter into where it belongs – the rubbish bin.
To the members of public, my case should serve as a warning to all the smokers out there. Be very careful about where you smoke or even where you hold your cigarette. I hope that no one else would have to go through this again.
Please share this post and warn your friends about this. Thank you.
You never know when a person will appear on the road. 2 nights ago, a man was spotted walking across CTE slowly. The poster claim that he looks drunk and most likely had too much of an early party.
An adult goes into a frenzy after a kid cycle over his legs and he kicked him.
The video taker claims that he should have given a chance to the kid to say sorry. Kid also want to fight, nothing to say.
“This man right here kicked me and pushed me . Kicked my bike too .
Ik its wrong cycling on the bridge but he did lay his hands on me .
Was cycling up the bridge when this man suddenly turned around and kicked my bike and push me and shout that why i knock his foot . Continues shouting at me and threatening to whack me . This man wears slippers to cycle .”
