Hi all, I am a victim of a scam. They sent threatening videos and photos to me. (I am not the person in this photo). The name “Kenny” which appeared in the 2nd photo called me and threatened to harm my family.
Long story short, this guy by the name of Victor texted me an advert. Thinking of getting a loan, I enquired from him. He transferred $700 to me as a trial loan. Said I need to return him $1000 the following week. When the date came, he delayed in letting me know the account number. So I had to pay a $300 penalty.
The following week, I’m supposed to pay him $1000. He kept delaying in giving me the account number. Then someone texted me out of the blue, say to pay to an account before 630pm. I asked if he is Victor’s colleague, he said yes. I called Victor to verify but he didn’t pick up my call. So I transferred the $1000. Then this guy asked am I Ken? I said no. He asked for my mobile number and said he got my last 2 numbers mixed up. I asked him to transfer the money back to me. He said he need to check with his boss. And will return me in 3 days’ time. He identified himself as Jordan.
Victor called and asked what happened. I said I transferred the $1000 to his colleague. He said he didn’t authorise anyone to text me. Sensing something was wrong, I discussed with my family. They asked me not to take up the loan with Victor. Victor said I need to pay $2200 as a cancellation. I asked if i can do it over internet banking. He said yes. So I transferred that amount. Then he said the account holder whom he rented the account said it has to be cash deposit and demanded that I do it using cash deposit. I asked why can’t he withdraw the amount and cash deposit it himself. He said cannot. So i made a cash deposit of $2200 to him.
And this Kenny guy said when I did the internet banking, I screwed up his order and demanded I pay another $2500. Fearing for the safety of my family, I paid. He said will return me the $2200 the next day.
Come next day, he texted me saying he need $3500 for messing up his bank account. I didn’t reply. He texted again, saying his boss ask for $2000 to settle. I made a police report. And reported and block victor and Kenny number on whatsapp. The following night, my wife received 3 threatening messages. I made a police report for her. And 3 days later, the guy who said will pay me the $1000 never replied. So you can see, that’s how they scammed me.
i went online and found some info on how they operate.
On the forum, someone wrote:
“Yes I know, they have 10 or 20 different numbers and they are just going to message you from another number. But honestly think about it, even if they have 100 numbers, It takes us 5 seconds to report their number and when their accounts are blocked on whastapp they would go into panic mode because a lot of their debtor information is on their whatsapp. The key function is to report them as spam and whatsapp will ban their account which would really hold them back and frustrate them more.”
I would like to share these numbers with you so that you can help me to report and block them on Whatsapp. It consist of the group of 3 people who scammed me and the rest are unlicensed moneylenders who texted me their advert. Please feel free to share with the people you care for, thanks!

i was scammed a total of $7500 out of fear for my loved ones. These cowards feed on fear.

Normally at a car workshop, half the time is workshops trying to scam people by charging or replacing unnecessary items in the shop. In another word get chop then want literally chop back.
What other kind of dispute could it be?

TLDR – Don’t allow bullies/abusers to intimidate you, always take a video and call the police in bad situations and hopefully you won’t end up injured like me.
Story time –
This crazy middle-aged fellow has been flinging away wet cat food at the sheltered walkway of my area, on the roof of the shelter as well as the carpark. He’s been doing this for almost a year now and the community feeders had to clean up his mess to prevent residents from complaining about the mess and the smell as well preventing pest from coming to eat the mess.
Yesterday I was notified that the crazy man was walking towards my block’s sheltered walkway so I went down to try and stop him or at least take a video of him. When I got down, he was at the top of the stairs, flinging food and water down the stairs, creating his mess again. I started taking videos and followed him to the next spot that he was going to do his dirty deed and he threw the cat food and water AT ME siao kia. Then he punched me in the face and we struggled cause he wanted to grab my phone. There was a bunch and push and pulling and he pushed against a car, kicked and managed to grab hold of my phone as a fell on my right and dislocated my right shoulder.
I kept following him and demanded for my phone back but he refused and threatened to punch me again if I try to take it back, luckily Jerlyyn came in time and called the police and a nice macik called up her family for some help. Once he realised that the police was coming he kept walking towards blk 576 and out to the carpark, in hopes to lose me and run away with my phone of evidence.
Then he passed me back my phone and said “stop following me or I will punch you”, and obviously home boy here didn’t stop following him and told him to go ahead and punch me but well he didn’t LOL. Then he tried to go back home and I tried to stop him, and he was roughing me out and trying to go after Jerlyyn because she was taking a video of his violence.
He managed to go back up but the police was here and they went up to get him. By the time they handcuffed him down, I was already on an ambulance to TTSH to get my shoulder fixed, hooray me.
Last update from the police at 3am was that he’s still in custody but I won’t know what will happen to this case until the IO rings me up. Hopefully I did not dislocate my shoulder in vain and that the police will do something about this. Also, this is not the first time he has threatened someone or have someone called the police on him, he has a record and the police knows it. Other residents have also mentioned that he did add weird substance into the water bowl or plastic bag that the cats drink from in hopes to poison them.

He has also gone down to the AMK TC to complain about cats and cat feedings numerous times, throwing at fit at the office. He fought and argue with another community feeder at the area and thinks that shes the ‘Mistress’ and people like me are being ‘paid’ by her to do this. Joke.
Cyber scam? I don’t know much till I pay money and learn!!! Well, it’s a sharing and hope you guys share around refraining anyone to fall into same trap as me. When it’s comes to you on same situation, you might be the next victim.. Don’t look down on hackers or look up yourself

5) Normal process on logging in to account with token password
6) Den Hacker take over your account to feed their IT professional. Good Game

– DBS banking hence send you an official message that you are going to be a happy boy since hacker activate your DIGITAL Token when you have A PHYSICAl Token! So it’s a good way for hacker to bypass my physical token to transferred my money out. 4896! So smart from hacker and banking point of view..
Immediately watching LIVE transact of my money to other people, called bank and they say: Freeze your account now and please file a police report.
Went police station, police wrote an official report to me and advice me that Minimum chance of getting the money unless is local bank. And they really transferred to a local POSB bank. So I got chance to get back my money already

30th May last year evening received peak hour CJ in town. Waited at pick up location Plaza Sing taxi stand and after 5 mins called pax. Realized his booking was the wrong location, he msg my number and insisted to transfer money to compensate me.
He kept insisting so I gave my account number and said $5 Enuf to cover my cost. He transferred $30 instead without even taking my cab.
I dedicate his message to all of the taxi drivers out there reading this post and pray you to meet nice souls like these.
