Many companies out here are giving away business achievement awards like buying fish in supermarket.. why I say supermarket, coz of the price. You can choose from ikan kampong to salmon..hahaha.. these so called consultants, call it marketing, but why do they give recognition awards in the form of marketing. Is it, that the higher the marketing package you buy, the more “due recognition” you deserve??? prices start from 3.8k ( before GST), they are even GST registered companies.. you know what I mean??? What’s thier income??

All these years, Ive been taught, hardwork & dedication is the key to success and recognition will be awarded for the contributions or achievements, now I’ve sadly learned that all these can be bought, actually there is a price tag for it.. I can pay a few thousands to get a “recognition” award, pay for my own publicity campaign, interviews on how I “achieved” , worked hard to reach the top of the ladder, claim a TOP 100 to excellant entrepreneur award which I would say, I deserve it, frame it up in my office and feel proud about it and make my clients feel they can TRUST me… TRUST ME.. really???

I’m sorry, if I’m going to offend many by this post.. but it’s truly an unethical way to project one’s strive to success. I may sound like a sour grape.. it’s not that I don’t have a 4k to buy such awards to put up on my wall of fame.. but I don’t think I would feel proud of myself being in an education business with great talents and mentors guiding me for over 10 years.. Such buyable awards will simply prove that actually I don’t need such gurus to groom me, I don’t beleive in myself n my work, the message I’m going to leave behind for my kids, ” you have money, you can buy any awards and titles which you don’t deserve”.. What a world to live in..

My apologies again, please understand.. there are many struggling talents out there, ive come across many talented ppl, who work hard, struggle in thier daily life just to get a breakthrough, support them instead.. like our our own musicians, actors, directors, creative talents..many many.. instead of making the rich richer why don’t these excellance awards help the real SME which deserves the “DUE RECOGNITION”. these rich ppl game of business branding & entrepreneurship should not affect the hardworking ones with a vision and passion. Although, we are living in a society of making money out of every problem, let’s give genuine solution to solve the problem. Don’t use these awards as baits to cheat our clients, many may really think it’s genuine.

Don’t kill the industry, have a fair chance for everyone to be in it.. hardwork and dedication is the key for all sustanable success, don’t preach that success can be bought with money, your business will be excellant with true dedication, no recognition means it’s ok.. your quality and talent should speak for itself. True awards are much more expensive as it costs your blood and sweat not just money and whichever organistion gives such awards, that’s prestigious.. kudos.. have a blessed day ahead
