Dear all, seeking everybody’s help to keep a look out for my dad who has gone missing for the last 24hours. He’s 80years old & has dementia condition.
Police report has been lodged & we have also searched those favourite places he possibly may go but to no avail. Last seen at Bedok North area yesterday morning.
There’s nothing we can do except to wait. Hopefully, with police’s resources, can help us locate him soon…
Also, much appreciate all the kind wishes but at this point, unless you have update relating to this matter. We really need some peace of mind. Thanks for understanding.
Win liaos! The bus was crowded. Refused to allow other passengers to sit on the seat beside her by placing her palm on it because her friend was in front who was trying to make her way to the seat.
However, as the bus was crowded, her friend couldn’t walk in but this lady still refused to allow other standing passengers to sit, insisting that it’s for her friend.
The seat was left empty with her palm on the seat till she alighted.
To all #Singtel and #Apple customers and users, please be aware the devices you have gotten through renewal of contract from Singtel could be a used or refurbished device. It has happened to me.
I have renewed my contract with Singtel on 12 Aug 2018 and gotten a IPhoneX 256GB Silver edition from Singtel Online Sales 65383833 and picked up the IPhoneX 256GB from Toa Payoh PopStation on 14 Aug 2018. I have opened up the box on 17 Aug 2018 and found the phone display has a defect as shown on the picture. I called up 653838388 and was told Singtel could not do the exchange and wanted me to bring down to Apple Shop. Made my way to Apple Orchard and was informed that my phone was not a brand new phone as I have claimed and therefore could not do the exchange with me.
Provided me the documentation proof Genius Bar to show that the phone I have gotten from Singtel was activated on 31 Jan 2018 and it is definitely not a new phone and therefore I have to deal with Singtel. Went back and called Singtel 1688 and spoke to Aizad, Duty Manager, after battling with the customer service for nearly 7 hours of no actions on 18 Aug 2018 despite I have sent all the necessary proof.
I demanded to get my phone replaced at Hello Shop. Aizad finally told me Singtel Shop could not do the exchange at 7pm as the phone was bought through telesales and I have to wait till Monday, 20 Aug, for the telesales to work then she could work it out for me.
On 20 Aug, Aizad called and claimed the telesales cannot exchange as they need to investigate with Apple and required my approval to release the Service Agreement to Apple to prove that I have bought a new IPhoneX on 12 Aug. I gave the approval and no news or updates for the next few days till I called up 1688 again on 24 Aug. Customer Service told me they have no clues with the case as Aizad is handling it and Aizad was not around. Asked to speak to Duty Manager and was told no Duty Manager around, only Local Manager presence. Requested to speak to Local Manager and was being pushed around and finally Duty Supervisor, Fernando, answered the call. Told Fernando that I required Aizad to call back within an hour to update me. Aizad called and said she was busy with a call. So is Aizad busy with a call or not around as claimed by the CS?
Anyway Aizad provided no solution for first call and have no idea when I can get my phone replaced. I demanded to escalate to her Superior and I wanted her superior to explain to me. 30mins later, Aizad called again and told me Singtel Team has engaged Apple and need to wait till following week to confirm the outcome. In conclusion, there is still no resolutions for the issue.
So now, my questions for Apple Inc. and Singtel,
1. Is selling a used phone and claim a brand new phone a FRAUD case?
2. What kind of SOP of service recovery do you have?
3. When all documentation proof are presence, how long more do you need to investigate?
4. Is this the kind of customer service that Singtel and Apple provides to their customer by delaying them with no conclusion?
To the general public, I seek your attention in being careful to check on your devices especially those purchased at Singtel shops or Singtel retailers to bring it to Apple shop and check it if your unit is a used or refurbished set. We, consumers, paid solid premium dollars to purchase the item and should not be shortchanged by these giant companies. I urge you to share my experience with your friends, colleagues, neighbour, family members who are using Apple products, especially those bought through Singtel.
Never once in my life, I would think I will resort to this way of publishing online to seek for help, but some people really leave me with no choice. I have my son with me, I need to think of his safety. I had tried numerous times to try to get in touch with the ex-husband and his parents but he choose not to bear the consequences and his parents ignored my pleas.
Me and my ex-husband, CHAN HON WAI NICK, (S78XXXXX) have divorced since year 2017 and lately he borrowed from loan sharks. On 15th August 2018 evening, I have been receiving harassment and threatening calls looking for me to pay off his debts.
The caller has details of my son’s school and class. They even have my office details. Mr Chan came to my home two weeks back informing he has borrowed from credit company and might have problem paying. At that moment, I didn’t think much and after telling him to settle it himself, he left.
On 15 August afternoon, Mr Chan dropped me a message informing me that he changed his mobile number. When I received the calls from the money lender, I gave the caller Mr Chan’s new mobile number to stop him from calling me.
That evening itself I went to make a police report on the calls and whatsapp messages received. But the police had just advised me to stay alert and no other actions were mentioned.
Mr Chan has not been staying us since April last year after our divorce has been finalised and have moved back to his parents home at Teck Whye Lane #0X-XXX. However, Mr Chan continued to use the address where my son and I are staying to implicate us with his financial issue. We were unable to move out of the house currently I have no alternative accommodation.
Left with no choice, I tried calling Mr Chan’s parents to ask him to do something about it. Yet all calls to them were either unanswered or rejected. Adding to my nightmare, the caller has been harassing my office since 22 August 2018 and my company had lodged a report. To my horror, on the 23 August 2018, I received a photo of my home gate from the loan sharks and demanding me to clear the total amount of $2980. Being a single mother, that amount is beyond my reach.
I am at my wits’ end, hence resorting to write here, I hope someone to inform any of Mr Chan’s family members to inform him, so that Mr Chan is able to sort out his financial issues. As a result of this, I had not been sleeping well, constantly in fear of my son’s safety.
My son was badly affected by this. He refused to go out alone without my company. He would jump at slightest noise if he hears anyone outside the door. Now he refused to sleep without the light off. This had severely affected my boy.
I have only this method left to create awareness and to let Mr Chan’s family members know their son/brother is in trouble and please don’t get unrelated people get involved. I also wish to caution people who knows Mr Chan be aware and careful. For all you know, Mr Chan could have used your personal details for unlawful activities too.
Having said, by publishing this, I don’t mean any harm. I myself do not even know if it is the correct thing to do, but this is the only way out.
Dear all, I am not someone who will normally post my anger on social media, but this time round things happened on my 75 yo dad.
This morning at approximately 830am, my dad and sister have just finished their breakfast at Hougang Blk 681 and were leaving the carpark. My dad who is a experienced driver for 55 years started to move out of the lot after he ensure there is no other traffic on left and right. Just when he is almost out from the parking lot, this fella SKT8164Y drove so fast towards my dad’s car and stop very very near to my dad car and start to horn non stop at my dad.
My dad continued to move out from the lot and proceed to go towards the exit of the carpark. This joker continued to tailgate my dad car and when my dad was at the exit, he continued to sound his horn at my dad. My dad then got off from the car and approached this joker… when he saw my dad alight and is a very old man, he also alighted and started to scream and argue with my dad. ( Hello Joker, pick someone your own size la! Don’t assume my dad is a white haired old man and you can just simply bully)
Just a word to you JOKER! Karma will always find his way back to you! Just think what if this happened to your own family member?
Don’t think driving big car and can just simply bully an old man! I am posting this on social media is only to let others know that in our Modern society, still have this type of Joker…..
Mdm Heng because of your negligence act of misfeeding my mum on that fateful night 8 45pm on 13 Aug 18 while her neck tilted backwards with oats drink, she had ended up aspiration pneumonia with chesty cough till her death on 19 Aug 18 and you even had the gut to omit this factual evidence on the record book and went to extent of pushing the blame to the day nurse for not teaching you how to feed a patient?!
The question here is how can you as a profession nurse not know that when the neck is tilted backwards the food or drink will get into the windpipe instead of foodpipe?!!
Even we as the layman know this is common sense how can you make such a deadly mistake to cause her early and painful death??!! I have my maid doctor n day nurse together with blood test report to testify your mistake and you cant run away scotfree ..even if the law cant get you..
your conscience will haunt you for life!!
As for the Nicole consultancy agency in charge Jonathan you still sent to me such retired nurse even when we informed you of my mum medical condition and threatened to discontinue your nursing service after knowing the incident if we pursue any legal action to your company and wanted me to go directly after the nurse and disclaim any responsibility as a middleman!!
An urgent message from a friend…See any of your friends would like to adopt them. Please help share before the puppies meet their fate.

I’ve received 20 over calls within 3hrs regarding these 2 puppies that were supposed to be put down. They are NOT from SPCA SINGAPORE.
I’m glad there are so many kind hearted people around but we need to understand that SPCA Singapore DON’T PUT DOWN HEALTHY ANIMALS. This is fake news from another vet clinic.
As a staff from SPCA SINGAPORE, I can assure that the puppies are not with us. I need all my social media friends to spread this fake news alert around!
Workers no get the salary but asked to work. According to the image, the company is a construction company. But it turns out that these workers are from subcontractors.
Why the authorities cannot do more to help our taxi uncles? Why do they need to waste their time to deal with such fare jumpers?
I sympathise with the grab and taxi drivers who needs to earn a living. I wonder why Singapore Police Force is not taking action against such free loaders. It would encourage such behaviour. Please share to warn others of her.
“My aunt picked this woman last night from orchard plaza to whampoa drive.”
“At first she eat in the taxi, my aunt ask her to be careful not to mess up the car. When each her place, meter shows $9.70 but she says she is not paying & ask my aunt call the police .”
“My aunt turned around & saw the food is all over the seats floor .”
