and so today on a sunday, i couldnt get out of my house cos a car blocked me gate from fully opening. so who do i call?

waited for 30min for this joker and he said. oh for a short while only.

the best part is….. just behind my house is a free parking hdb carpark.

ELDERLY MAN CHEATED. SIGN INTERNET FOR SCAMMER

Since Dec’17, my elderly father has been paying another unit 2Gb broadband svc.’A Singtel uncle’ ask my father to sign but he didn’t know he is paying for another unit; no copy of contract…

I realized last mth how come he is paying$12+.brought him to McPherson npp to lodge a police report.The police officer on duty,at first he didn’t want to help make the police report;n stated it’s for singtel action on the statement. Send an email to police feedback abt officer svc n statement; Acp can ask me why i didnt go back to npp again????

I and my father went npp, with only 1 mth copy of SingTel bill, officer asks previous bills. Went back with father n search for previous bill n i went to npp myself without him.lodge.Acp called me say Msf case?

Not police case?I didnt know hw to dismantle red white yellow cable,technical support assisted me.I was so frustrated.I send back ac adaptor,remote control,3 colors cable n box of course to Singtel shop at tp.mall.I yell n shouted.I sign a form for investigation.How long investigation?They dont want to accept box.

I leave it there.Ask for manager name they first dont tell.The neighbour 06-121,still have 2 Gb.My father on the day i brought him to make police report;scolded in Hokkien to her.(I dont understand hokkien;Mandarin can)

ITE STUDENTS SAY STUDY ITE NO USE. DRIVE GRAB EARN MORE

I met a group of ITE student last week to discuss about what they are going to do after finishing ITE. I owned a furniture company and hope that more youngsters can take over and do the business, unfortunately, it’s almost impossible.

This is my story.

One of the ITE students mentioned that even if they were offered jobs that are at $2000 they will reject and go drive grab. I said that grab drivers have to pay Medisave and CPF. No one will help them pay.

The students told me yes its true no Medisave and CPF but rather than wasting the next 2 years studying here for so I can go for a low salary job is a waste of time.

“I rather go work grab 2 years then go get a private diploma direct.”

“After I get a diploma I can decide if I want to further my studies or continue driving grab. Depends I get a better job if not always go back to grab till I get my degree.”

Whether the diploma or degree is recognized don’t really matter as long its not govt sector but that is another separate argument. I agreed with the students to a certain extent. They do save much time to further studies and potentially even start to have savings.

I’m not advocating ITE students to quit and do this. The question is…

DOGS RECUSED AFTER GETTING ABUSED BY OWNER

These furry will be available for adoption on our last day of adoption drive which is on this Sunday, 5th August 2018, location is No 11 Pasir Ris Farmway 2 S(516329), located at mutts &a mittens Pasir Ris.

These are a batch of dogs (Bichon, poodles, Maltese crossed) that were rescued from a hoarder, all the condition of the dogs are not in good condition, they are all filled with ticks which we have already treated, and it all started out from an irresponsible owner who refused to sterilised the dogs and it just multiplied beyond control. And yes, these are all the in bred dogs which the owner has got no meant to care for them and allowing them to multiples, many had died and many of them suffered.

Many of them had tick fever, intestinal parasites, anaemic, some were malnourished, some had severe ears and other physical condition, many of them were having bad diarrhoea with bloods, many of them were hungry, there’s even a lactating Mother with swelling nipples without her puppies, And the grossest things is, each dogs had at least thousand over ticks on each of them.

We all know that hoarding is some form of psychological issue, and to a point, the animals suffered at the emotions of the “owner”.

We are so Glad that AVA took action on the owner and compounded all the dogs, and getting all the Dogs treated, and all of them are ready for adoption. We have received all the dogs from the authority, they are all now happier and healthy! All the dogs are estimated to be around 5yrs old, male and females, they are all very loving and deserved owners that truly loves and cares for them. We need to praise Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) for their actions and acted on the cruelty act that the owner has caused to the dogs, the dogs got their second chance with the help from the authority and off the hand of the cruel “owner”.

Now that the “owner” knows that VFA has taken over the dogs, we had already experienced the “owner” coming to the adoption drive today and kick fuss on why we took the dogs and attempting to get a lawyer to sue us for rehoming the dogs, if we have any Lawyers to be on standby should we received any lawyer letter from the cruel owner, anyone would stand up for us ? Please do revert!

Meanwhile, we will still continue rehoming the compounded dogs and I have already had all the ownership of all the dogs and they are legally mine and ready for adoption. If you know of any friends who are keen in adoption, please do revert this msg to them and gather them to come to VFA adoption drive on Sunday, they are all very sweet and deserved love from a real dog owner!

Please share and help these dogs to find their forever home!

LOOKING FOR HIT AND RUN VOLKSWAGEN @ TOH GUAN ROAD

Hi all, I would like to appeal any dashcam footage of a accident that happen.

My friend was involve in a hit and run accident at the T-junction of Jurong Gateway Road and Toh Guan Road. He escaped with a contusion on his right foot.

Details of the accident:
– 4 August 2018 at about 6:20pm
– Black/Dark Blue Volkswagen
– Was riding along Toh Guan Road. Stop at the traffic light while waiting for it to turn green and was infront of the car. Driver did not signal and show no intention to turn left. When the light turn green, driver turn left towards Jurong Gateway Road and side swipe my friend. The rear tyre went over his right foot and driver sped off immediately.
– His handle bar and side mirror was slanted due to the impact.
– Police report has been made.

LITTLE BOY GET HIT BY MOTORBIKE DURING GREEN LIGHT!

Witness this while sending my grab delivery and so went forward to assist this video is taken in case they need any evidence … the motor bike hit the little boy during the green light

The police and ambulance was called but no one call his parent so I help to call and keep their number to follow up. Had follow up with his parent but however this little boy need to be hospitalised to examine on his condition so let’s pray for him …. get well soon!

NETIZEN FEELS PUBLIC BUS CHANGE LANE WITHOUT ENSURING SAFETY

I’m feeling rather disturbed witnessing and experiencing two incidents within an hour of buses changing lanes without ensuring safety, and potentially causing accidents.

In the first video, the bus exited the bus bay right into oncoming motorcyclists. Although the driver signaled his intention, it is not his right of way. He could have caused serious injury to the riders.

In the second video, the driver assumed I was going to filter left into Vivocity. I was not. He started filtering into my lane, while my car was still beside the bus. Despite giving long warning honks, the driver continued filtering and coming very close to my car, forcing me to brake to avoid impact.

NETIZEN UNHAPPY WITH MAYBANK AFTER GETTING HANG UP

Fed up with stupid Maybank over their mortgage loan servicing!

Last year when we were viewing to buy our first home, we were introduced to a Maybank banker, Banker A by a Property Agent and was impressed at how fast the Banker A could give us a IPA quantum. Banker gave us a reply in less than 24hours, was quite pleasant and followed up quickly. However, we decided to drop Property Agent as we could tell she was inexperienced and there was no chemistry.

Big mistake! Banker A started showing some subtle signs of being not so pleasant and not replying as fast as previously but we dismissed it and thought he was busy as he claims to be. After all, we just want the loan processed and disbursed.

Due to some personal issues, Maybank offered a conditional loan involving placement of a small sum of FD before loan would be disbursed at TOP.

However, there was a disconnect from loan servicing and branch as we were told to go to any Maybank branch to do the placement of FD but no one at branch knew what’s going on and the fine details were not advised to the branch. During this time, we got to know Banker A had left the company and he told us to contact Banker B from Maybank for assistance.

We mostly used WhatsApp to communicate with Banker B to ask about when and whether the loans would be disbursed. Banker B’s reply was short, curt and uninterested. However, we also dismissed it, thinking that since it’s at the last stage of our home loan, all we wanted was just to make sure our loan was disbursed and we could move in to our new home!

The loan was successfully disbursed and we moved in. 1 month later, we were sent a letter from Etiqa, part of Maybank, saying that we had signed up for some insurance to be paid via our home loan servicing account which we never agreed to or knew the details about.

I tried to email Maybank so someone would get in touch. 1 week passed but no one bother to call back.

Then I reached out to the Banker B and highlighted that we were not aware about the insurance and he told us it was a fire insurance. I told him that what I was unhappy was that I was not informed about it and he replied nonchalantly that it’s compulsory and comes with every home loan.

I then called him up to speak verbally. During this time, Banker B’s tone was indifferent and not pleasant at all so I called him out for it. Banker B then told me that he was not the officer in charge of my loan so he would not have gotten a chance to communicate those insurance details to me. He then highlighted that he did not get a commission from my loan application and that I was calling him on a weekend (Saturday to be exact) which is not during office hours.

I was like WTF! But I swear that I did not say expletives to him, although I was highly furious. I then told him to tell his manager to call me back. He then repeated that he was not in charge of my portfolio even though Banker A left and made it seem like he was doing me a great service by talking to me, if at all, highlighting that it was a weekend and he shouldn’t be taking my call. Then he did the most amazing thing ever – HE HUNG UP ON ME!

Wow, fantastic customer service, Maybank! I’m like the beggar who’s begging for service even though I paid for it via the commission on my housing loan!
