NTUC DELIVERY FAILED AGAIN. SHOULD WE STILL USE THEM?

I placed order to be delivered to our office last Mon 30 Jul from 2-4pm for Order No. ORD25061068 but only partial items were being delivered. I called your customer service everyday regarding the missing items and each time, I was told that they will be redelivered the next day before 12pm but it was never delivered till today. I asked for the Team Leader to call me back but he/she just ignored me.

I sent a complaint email to [email protected] but they also ignored me and just promised me that it will be delivered today from 10am to 12pm but till now… again…

the delivery man did not appear. Fairprice’s service really sucks!!! They simply ignored the customers.

VAN BANGS INTO CAR GIVE FALSE CONTACT INFORMATION!

Appealing for other car witnesses/video evidence for an accident that happened at 620 am on 6th August 2018 at Serangoon garden way/Lor Chuan , where a van(PA4064U) rear ended my vehicle.

He initially pleaded for us to settle in private but intentionally gave us a contact which is not valid/cannot be reached and I failed to pick up his ic/driving license due to lack of phone/panic.

We have attempted to text/ring him but he blocked our numbers when he attempt to ring him.

We have video evidence from car in front who’s turning and is attached in this post.

We would be Glad if able to find someone who can provide cam recordings from a perspective from behind or if anyone knows this van (PA4064U) driver. We are looking for him to contact us.

10 men armed with sticks pulled off a heist at Malaysia Customs Department’s Narcotics Unit in Kampung Jijan yesterday to recover drugs that were previously seized

The 10 men drove in two vehicles and attacked the guards on duty with wooden sticks and tied them up.

It is believed that after immobilizing the guards, the robbers proceeded to a container and remove boxes believed to contain drugs worth around RM380,000 each.

The boxes taken are worth as estimate of about S$10.2 million.

DBS might have been hacked or they are part of a scam…

This evening, my mum received 2 messages from DBS Bank (as you can see from the above message so that I don’t slander DBS for its reputation…) stating that “DBS Bank just announced new software that would probably make hundreds of Singaporeans to become Millionaires, check if you qualify”

and the message was sent out to her once at 5.53pm and another time at 7.06pm.

As she trusted DBS so much, she clicked on the link.. and it leads her to some investment website.
Given her trust with DBS, she did not do her due diligent and she paid $350 usd (not via DBS card), and thereafter a salesperson called her… trying to ask her to put $10,000usd into the account and they will help her to trade and make money.

Had I been home slightly later… the $10,000 might have been gone.

She called UOB trying to claw back the funds but it was not possible, as the UOB customer service told her that the merchant who made the charge was classified under accommodation and lodging… then she realized that it was a SCAM.
and, she was charged $374usd (instead of $350usd)

She is still trying to withdraw the funds from the website, and the salesperson says that it was take a few days to process… (totally don’t believe that the funds are gonna come back, unless miracle happens)

Had called DBS to ask them if they were hacked, and they mentioned that they will give my mum a call back.

She was so upset with herself for being so trusting. Lucky that the damage was $374usd and not $10374usd.

We are not pinning high hope to get the funds back, just hope that there ain’t any other people that get scammed…
the next victim might not be us… but it might be our parents, grandparents, relatives or friends?

The PHV who whacked my taxi from behind in a chain collision wanted to private settle and pay me out of his own pocket. I wasn’t too keen to private settle and told him I preferred to report this accident.

He then told me that his demerit points are almost there, if report this accident means his driving licence will be suspended and he will not be able to drive anymore. I looked him in the eyes and could see his desperation even though he was telling me in a worried but calm manner.

At that moment, I don’t know whether it was due to whiplash from the impact or some other thing, I began to have a headache. There he was still standing next to me and waiting for a favourable response from me to his request and made me more stress. Funny thing was I was even starting to consider whether to private settle and honestly I actually feel for him what would happen if he could not drive and stuck with contracts and things like that… Now his problem becomes my problem!

While I was struggling to think clearly from the headache, a strong cool gust of wind blew over where we were standing. I felt my headache slowly going away. Then it suddenly dawn on me what has this accident got to do with his demerit points? The TP wouldn’t be bothered with this type of accident. They’ll leave it to insurance to settle. So I turned to him and tell him that we are reporting to insurance, not to TP. Reporting to insurance will not increase his demerit points. Upon hearing what I said, his eyes brightened up a bit. Sensing that this may be his first time involved in accident, I explained to him that as long as no police report is necessary, his points will not increase and insurance will just pay for the damages on my taxi. He asked me to confirm what I said is true. I confirmed it is true.

Straightaway his face was like that of a small child being given a lollipop. I laughed secretly at the changes in his facial expression. I have never seen a guy who is going to be 100% liable for all damages to my taxi look so gratefully happy and talking to me like his own brother like I just saved his life.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4, 2018 – A total of 246 foreign nationals including six locals were detained for allegedly conducting immoral activities including prostitution and employing illegal immigrants in the operations of the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) at three entertainment centers simultaneously at Jalan Klang Lama here early this morning.
