Netizen calls plumber dishonest and expensive. Whether they charge you $100 or $50 is because they have the expertise to fix your problem.
Secondly, you think drive to your home no need parking and no need fuel? Imagine they at Jurong but you at Pasir ris, are they suppose to charge more?
NO, it will be a standard rate.
3RDLY they are a 24 hours service plumber. You a go see doctor at 24-hour clinic and normal hours clinic got different charges? OF COURSE.
HELLO THINK BEFORE YOU POST LA!
“NEVER EVER CALL THEM.”
“Unprofessional af, charges skyrocket price just to tighten a pipe that we cant tighten ourselves
🙄
Did not even provide a new pipe. ““When i asked for an explanation, they simply told me that EVERYTHING IN SINGAPORE IS EXPENSIVE.”
“Tsk. Like i’ve never gotten a plumber that changed my pipe for me and charged me lesser than $100.
Their another number is *******”
“Share to create awareness so that they cant get new business”

Perpetrator has already taken down her Facebook profile and turned her mobile off.
Singapore Police Force called back just now to inform me that they’ve now launched an investigation looking into this matter, as they’ve received several reports from various sources about the same person using the same phone # going around scamming people with her fake tickets!
Some were a lot more unfortunate than I was as they had already made payment to this lady and received blank envelopes. Police urged me to advise everyone else who’ve come across this scammer to lodge a police report immediately!!!

I’m not one to usually post about these things, but I feel it’s my social responsibility to alert all of my friends to scammers who misuse our sympathy!!!
I was really excited to have someone reach out to me about selling her tickets to JJ Lin’s concert at cost price because she shared her sob story about her boyfriend leaving her, so she said it was too painful to attend it without him. So out of sympathy and pure excitement to attend JJ’s concert, I decided to purchase her tickets.
Initially, I tried several attempts to ask her for a face-to-face meetup, but she refused as she said she felt uncomfortable meeting in person. She proceeded to tell me she was already at the post office and was ready to have her tickets mailed to my address. As soon as she did so, she requested for me to send her money immediately. In the spur of the moment, I was about to pay her S$700 for them but decided I felt uncomfortable doing so, so I mentioned to her that I will only pay her when I’ve received and validated the tickets. However, I never expected the series of events that unfolded throughout the rest of the day…
I finally received “said” tickets in mail today, and in it was a blank piece of paper…
May have been a fake profile …@敏思

I’d like to share a terrible breakfast experience that I had today (2nd Aug 18). I had ordered a Masala Dosa at Srisun Signature located at Block 291 Yishun Street 22. Upon digging in into my second bite, I felt a sharp pain at the roof of my mouth.
To my horror, I saw a piece of prism shaped ceramic (in my opinion) measuring 1.5cm by 1.5cm (see attached image). It had sharp jagged edges. I brought this up to the staff attention and they did not seem too bothered by the article nor my complaint. I was offered no apology.
I managed to get in touch with the director of the restaurant thereafter after much persuasion. She assured me she would look into the matter. She was honest and updated me with the events that had led up to this situation (see attached image). It was an act of sabotage by one of the workers in the restaurant due to an internal conflict. I have reported the matter to NEA and the agency is currently investigating the matter. I will also be reporting this matter to the Singapore Police Force to ensure that due action is taken against the perpetrator.
I am certain that had I or any member of the public ingested this foreign article, it would have without doubt caused some grevious internal injury to the body if not worse. This post serves as a caution to all those who might choose to dine at Srisun Signature in the future and also as a reminder to all of us that we need to be extra careful when we consume food at eateries. Pls share for public awareness. Thanks.
Dear fellow Cat lovers,
this is a follow up post on the Flanders Square case which I recently posted.
There are at least a dozen cats hiding on the rooftops of these shophouses that are injured / abused and not sterilised. With the help of CWS, we managed to trap those who are injured and the unsterilized healthier ones have already been sent for TNR.
We are left with a few older kittens (7-8 months old) that are not suitable to be sterilised yet and require vets’ attention.
One of them, we call her Angie, has been badly scalded with HOT WATER by the residents around the area.
Since 24 July, Angie has been hospitalized with her very extensive scalded wounds and would need a minimum of 3 – 4 weeks hospital stay.
From 24/7 – 27/7, her bill is already $609.43.
We need to raise another $2000+ for her hospitalization.
We urgently appeal for all Cat lovers and their kind friends for donations to help us to SAVE Angie.
If you can make a contribution, please transfer to her rescuer, Constance :

No amount is ever too small as every single contribution counts for her full recovery and going back to her daily normal life .
