FEEDBACK: “STARHUB CUSTOMER SERVICE RUDE LIKE AH BENG”

I personally don’t like to write complaints on Facebook as I think it’s unfair to the person being complaint. I have been a StarHub customer when it first started maybe about 18y ago. My home, company mobile, cable services are all provided by StarHub. Few days ago, I had a sudden surge in my data usage and I called in to StarHub to make an enquiry. This customer service agent, Mr Yong handled my call.

After explaining the situation to him, he said that it was my Apple App updating that has resulted in the sudden surge. He asked me to check if my phone settings allowed Apple app to update over mobile data. I checked and my app update over mobile was off. But he insisted that his computer was right and I could not dispute over this. I asked to escalate my problem to a senior in his team since he is unable to provide me with a reasonable answer. He said that he is the most ‘senior’ and there was no one I can escalate this matter to???!!!

He said I had to either pay for the excess data usage or buy a data bundle because it is my fault for not ensuring my phone settings are not set properly and there was nothing to dispute about. His computer system indicates that and fullstop.

It’s the tone and attitude of this person who really made me very unhappy. He was very arrogant and rude. He was also very impatient in his replies. He is probably better as a ‘senior’ in debt collecting or ah Beng shop.

I really don’t know how StarHub can train an agent to be so senior and let him be the face of StarHub in your call centre. I wonder how your junior staff are like then. If he is indeed so senior, then I can’t imagine how the ceo would be. This is really the worst experience I ever had with StarHub and really if there is a grading below zero, that’s the grading I would give him. Maybe that’s why he didn’t asked me for a feedback grading after the call… which

17-YEAR-OLD SECRET SOCIETY MEMBER FIGHT AT BEACH ROAD

According to reports, a 17-year-old teen is believed to have attacked an 18-year-old man at a shopping center along Beach Road(Golden Mile or Concourse?).

It is believed that the young attacker is a member of a secret society. He attacked the 18-year-old during a gang confrontation.

Further investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to be a member of an unlawful society.

A 17-year-old man will be charged in court on 24 July 2018 for his suspected involvement in gang-related activities and voluntarily causing hurt to an 18-year-old man.

The 17-year-old suspect is believed to have punched the 18-year-old victim repeatedly during a gang-related confrontation on 7 February 2018 at a shopping centre located along Beach Road. Further investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to be a member of an unlawful society.

Under Section 14(3) of the Societies Act, Chapter 311, anyone found guilty of being or acting as a member of an unlawful society shall be liable to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment for a term of up to three years or both. Under Section 323 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, anyone found guilty of voluntarily causing hurt shall be liable to imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to $5,000, or with both.

The Police takes a very stern view against gang-related activities, and will not hesitate to take action against those who choose to be associated with gangs or blatantly disregard the law.

DOG RAN OVER BY CAR AT SIN MING DRIVE! DRIVER IGNORE

Those of you who own a pet, you will know the agony of losing one. My pet dog, Lucky, had been with me since he was a puppy. However, I lost him on 20/7/2018 (Fri), at around 1957hrs outside 31 Sin Ming Drive.

As you can see from the footage, Lucky actually saw a car coming and upon raising his head, the car(Toyota Estima)knocked him down instantaneously. The driver did slow down and even drove back to see ‘what he had hit’. He/she did not get out of the car at all. Given that he made a second round, I’m sure he knew he had hit a dog. No assistance was rendered at all. He/she must have thought “it’s just a dog”. The car behind simply avoided it. Nobody stopped to help.

He/she will never understand the pain of losing a pet that had been faithfully accompanying you for 15 years of your life. To Lucky, I was his everything. And to me, he was too.

When I attended to him, it really pained me to see him lying in a pool of blood. Lucky might go anytime due to his old age, but he should not have died in this manner.

Brothers and sisters, I had been asking my neighbours for CCTV footages of the car that killed Lucky but we were unable to see the plate number. I sincerely appeal to all of you to help in hunting down the murderer. Pls msg me should you have any clue. Thanks so much!

Seems like LTA going all out to hunt down illegal modification on the e-bikes.

All out war on e-bikes already liaos! Not only roadblocks but also e-bike/scooter shops.Dont be cheap. The shops might be trying to get rid of the unapproved models.

Private E-bikes facebook pages are warning their members to lay low to avoid getting caught. This is so wrong.

Good job to LTA.  Clamp down all these shops so fewer people will get hurt!

TROLLEY BANG CAR UNTIL GOT DENT @ AMK HUB

On 24/06/2018 at 12pm, I parked my car at AMK hub basement 3 car park. When I returned to retrieve my car a few hours later, I was shocked to see a dent in my car boot.

From my car’s video footage, there was this couple drives in at 1.30pm. After a few hours later, they were seen pushing a NTUC trolley back to their car. The trolley banged onto my car boot, causing the dent and they left at 4.10pm.
