LORRY HIT AND RUN, DRAGGED VICTIM ALONG THE ROAD BEFORE STOPPING!!

Appeal for witnesses to the road traffic accident involving my mum. Below is an account, based on what my mum remembered and shared when we saw her at the A&E resuscitation room.

On Thursday 1 Feb 2018 at about 10.30am, my mum was waiting for the green man at the traffic light junction of Woodlands Avenue 3 and Woodlands Centre Road (see picture attached). After the pedestrian light had turned green, she started walking towards the direction of Marsiling MRT station when suddenly, a lorry hit her and dragged her along the road before coming to a halt.

Being stuck underneath the vehicle, she remembers that she was being pulled out with help of a few people. Upon being dragged out from under the vehicle, my mum wanted to contact one of us but discovered that her mobile phone was smashed and she could not do so. Her clothes had also been ripped off almost completely.

The pain she felt was excruciating and she was in shock to see her left leg being so severely injured, with the skin ripped off and its bones, muscles and tendons visible (see picture attached). She also sustained multiple rib fractures and shoulder dislocation, and her face was badly bruised and swollen. My mum is currently still intubated in the ICU.

My family is in shock and distress, and we are seeking help for witnesses to this accident. If you were present at the accident site when it happened, or if you have any information on the accident, please contact us immediately at 8500 8888 (Sean Yeo).

We thank you in advance for your help.

FOREIGN ‘TALENTS’ EVADE TAXI FARE AND PUSHED THE DRIVER (VIDEO)

Fare evader!!!!

4th February 2018 2.15am fetch 2 pax from Raffles City shopping outside north bridge rd junction to Lim Teck kim rd.

During the journey at Neil rd junction pax started to wind down window and started vomit, half vomit outside and half was inside taxi hence I tell them I bring you to petrol kiosk to clean up the mess that they make but they refuse so they just snatch some of my wet tissues to wipe but was not clean.

After that they just open taxi door without paying so I follow them to demand my taxi fare it’s merely less than $10 and they do not want to pay. So I call 999 at 2.25am 1st time in my life I call SPF 5 Times!!!! For assist

They start to walk away toward cantonment rd so one of the pax started to piss off and ask me what I want, it’s in the video, I got pushed and fall, My hit on ground and twisted on my ankle.

They try to board 2 taxi but I stop the driver and explain to him what happen end up they have no choice but to keep walking toward cantonment rd, I call spf 5 time asking where they are and it’s 20min and still haven’t arrived.

So they went up to pinnacle and ran off. End up I call 999 again and say they ran off and I walk back to Lim Teck kim.

FT CURSE AND SWEAR AT MALAYSIAN MINISTER & SAID HE NOT SCARED OF POLICE

Hi Singapore Uncensored,

recently noticed this person has become very famous for himself in all the wrong reasons….you be the judge.

1. Firstly he publicly cursed and insulted a Minister in the Malaysia Government.
2. He has a long series of broadcasting in You Tube.
3. He worked in MRT worksite during work and makes live streaming.
4. Publicity he said he is not afraid of the Police. 5. He even tell people to jump from the 20 floor, because he lives on the 17 floor.

Look at all his broadcasting and be the judge yourself, how great a contribution he is giving to Singapore in the most negative ways. He claims that he is originally from Penang, he is Marcy Tan in You Tube. Icb in Facebook. He live in Hougang Avenue 5. Opposite Hougang Bus interchange.

With his photos. There will be no problem in identifying him. If you are catching a bus, no 251 and 827 passes his house. Near Hougang MRT Station.Netizens please tell him in his face to change his ways and attitude, otherwise don’t be in Singapore. Destroying Singaporeans minds and lifestyle. (Concern Singaporean)

FEMALE GRAB RIDER WANTED TO SIT IN THE FRONT DID NOT SAY SO BUT BLAME GRAB DRIVERS FOR NOT LETTING HER HAVE THE SEAT!

0

Grab rider wanted the front seat but did not open her mouth to say so. Blame grab drivers for not letting her have the seat.

She started a war online with drivers and riders in the Grabhitch Fb closed group. She scolded vulgarities and even asked drivers to pluck out their front seat. She is very defensive towards critism as many people who had told her that she should have told the Grabhitch driver she prefer taking front seat when boarding the car. Many would have allow her to do so. She did not open her “golden mouth” but chose to be a “keyboard warrior” to vent her anger at the Fb page using vulgarities like nb and f words on the drivers/riders commented on her post.

She even ask a person to use Listerin and watch what he said when she didn’t bother to reflect on what she had said. Rude riders alert! Drivers take care while picking her up. She won’t tell you what’s wrong but she will complain on social platform with vulgarities inserted.

IS SINGAPORE CHANGING TO ANOTHER COOKIE-CUTTER HDB TOWN?

0

If you go around Punggol/Sengkang nowadays, it is evident that the town is changing. Unfortunately, it is changing to become another cookie-cutter HDB town. It’s no longer special, as it was just a few years ago.

Now, the town is getting more crowded, not only with people but also with buildings. Even in the parks, such as along Waterway Park, green spaces are being decimated as we speak.

Near our home, there is a running track which was once flanked by greenery – plants, shrubs, trees. Jogging along the track was always pleasant as the greenery keeps the sun out and the air cool.

Now, work has begun on the construction of more HDB flats, all the way up to the track and the waterway.

Very soon, that little greenery will be obliterated and, like so many other parts of Punggol and Sengkang, be no more.

There is a green knoll near my place too, and we jog along and past it every other day. It is where at times children would play, fly kites or adults would try out their drones. It is one of the rare open green spaces here.

About a year ago, they plonked a kindergarten right in the middle of it.

Little kids will now have to cross the road, including a major junction, to get to the kindergarten which is located in the park.

Why on earth would anyone set a kindergarten in such a place?

It is now near completion and soon human traffic in that part of the park will increase.

But that is not the end of it. The other half of the knoll now sees construction work starting. What are they building? I don’t know. Maybe I will go ask the workers when I next go running there.

And now it gets even worse – they have just announced that they will build a “Digital District” in Punggol, at another wide open field just opposite of Coney Island.

More buildings.

What horror.

Sengkang is no longer a green town like it was before.

It is another concrete jungle, no different from other parts of Singapore.

Sometimes, I wonder why we keep building and building, erasing the little green spaces we have, where our kids could go play.

Who are the people behind such town planning? Where do these people live? How come they do not know how precious these green spaces are to residents?

Sigh.

Does the Sports Hub look like a Lions-friendly venue?

NON--FRIENDLY SPORTS HUB

According to this TNP report from last Wednesday (Jan 24), the consortium that operates the National Stadium wants the Kallang arena to be the home of the national  team.

But what have Singaporeans witnessed so far?

1) June 2014:
The stadium reopened.

2) June 2015:
SEA Games held in 🇸🇬, but the home team DID NOT play any of its  matches at the National Stadium.

3) Jan 2016:
The Lions were supposed to host three teams for the Merlion Cup at the National Stadium, but the Sports Hub didn’t play ball with FAS. The latter couldn’t afford the stadium’s HIGH RENTAL COSTS, so the Merlion Cup was cancelled.

4) 2017:
Two out of the Lions’ three Asian Cup qualifiers were NOT held at Kallang.
