NETIZEN SHARE HOW HE DEAL WITH ACID REFLUX PROBLEM!

0

To those having reflux or gastric problem. I went to a few doctors and they all prescribed the same ole omeprazole with some other pills that are pretty standard with reflux problems. It seemed to work a little for me but the reflux came back once I stopped. And it is not ideal to take medication long term for months. I was also extremely stressed with everything. My stomach would churn, burn, and feel very tight at exactly 2a.m. EVERY night. Very disciplined reflux.

This went on for a few months. I also tried a glass of warm milk before sleeping but nothing helped. At my lowest point, I went to visit a tcm. Nothing wrong w that but I usually don’t believe in tcm. This tcm has been around since decades I heard. And he doesn’t do any acupuncture. I don’t like needles so this was good news to me. So don’t just go to any tcm but you need to listen and find an experienced one WITH NO ACUPUNCTURE. Instructions given were very particular.

I was told to STOP any sugar. That means no drinks, no fruits, no deep fried food, no spicy. Sounds easy? It was so so so difficult because I used to eat fruits like 3x a day. And I loved my fast food. He also gave me some tcm meds, herbs type. I took them for 2 weeks. Initially i didn’t believe but it got better. Like 40%. Then the meds finished. I stopped.

And reflux came back for a while. I tried one more time and went back for second meds from same tcm. Repeated. And now it is better by 70%. Reflux is not so bad now. Not 100% cured but better than nothing. The logic for no sugar is so that the stomach can recover and digest easier. I even lost 2 kg in 1 month. Now I am able to re introduce sugar back into my life slowly. I still get reflux but it has tamed down a lot more. So try the no sugar no deep fried diet! No sweets no chocs no drinks no yoghurt no deep fried no sugary bread no cakes no fruits no chili no spice.

To compensate the lack of fruits in my diet, I ate a lot of vegetables. Almost every meal I had a whole plate of vegetables for myself. Just try to make a change in your diet first and take note of how your reflux will react.

SG GUY HATE WHY PEOPLE SAY GRADES DON”T DEFINE YOU OR CAP IS JUST A NUMBER ON A PAPER!

0

Let me explain why I hate it when people say things like, “Your grades don’t define you” or “CAP is just a number on a paper”

I got a cap of 3.3 (S/U won’t improve it much). I am a freshman.
My parents kicked me out of the house. I have to live off my NS savings. I am living in a hostel for 15 dollars a night until I can secure a room in JB for less than 200 SGD a month. From next sem, I will have to cross the border daily and travel all the way to NUS. I barely have any NUS friends to crash in their hall/RC.

By this sem, I will be totally broke because I will have to pay for my own tuition fees, food, housing, transport. I will have to apply for some financial aid and work a few part time jobs to make it through the following 7 sems. I will have to give up all expensive desires and cut off any social life. I hate the course I am doing (Engineering). I thought I would like it but I don’t. I don’t understand anything that is being taught.

I spent the whole semester break contemplating suicide. Sometimes I wish I was a girl so that I could easily become a freelance escort and earn quick money. I feel really lost.

But hey, CAP is just a number on a paper.

One of the men died on the spot, the woman who was previously injured died after being rushed to the hospital, two more are in critical condition, and the rest have been taken into police custody. Most of the victims were construction workers.

AFTER REFUSING TO WEAR COSTUME FOR PHOTOSHOOT HONG KONG TEEN WAS KILLED!

0

A 15-year-old young lady was sexually assaulted and killed after she declined to put on a costume for a photograph shoot, the Hong Kong High Court heard on Wednesday (Dec 27).

As indicated by neighborhood reports, the young lady had agreed in meeting up with the suspect, Lau Cheung-fai, and met him at the Langham Place shopping mall in Mongkok on Dec 8, 2014. They then went to Lau’s apartment nearby.

At the point when the young lady, who was used to wearing shaded contact lenses and colouring hair, declined to wear an costume for the photo shoot, Lau supposedly hit her head over and again with a glass ketchup bottle, the South China Morning Post revealed.

He then tied her neck and lower legs up with nylon links, and wrapped sticky tape round her head and wrists. He additionally constrained the young lady to drink Chinese wine, took off her clothing and “sexually assualted her”, the report refered to prosecutor Martyn Richmond as saying.

By at that point, “she was suffocating … she was dying”, Richmond included. Lau apparently squeeze the young lady’s body into a bag and wheeled the baggage to Harbor Hotel.

SCMP said the trial continued on Thursday.

0
Cleaners in the area of Stephen while doing clean up work were surpised to see 6 mysterious bullets and proceed to alert police which resulted in investigate of nearly 5 hours.
The incident occurred at about 10 o’clock yesterday morning (December 28), located in the vicinity of Stephen Road,(Metropolitan YMCA Singapore). A police officers were on the scene outside the Stephen Road Hotel and the atmosphere was rather tense, but it was not clear what had happened.
Reporters rushed to the scene, observed that there are at least 10 police officers at the scene, some law enforcement officers are using metal detectors in the vicinity of the flyover and the grass in the hotel area for carpet-type search, the footbridge under the flyover is about two or three meters long. Many passers-by were curious to see the situation.Male cleaners (right) in cleaning the hotel grass found 7 bullets, immediately reported to the police.
A male cleaner on the other side appears to be assisting police investigation, to police officers to explain the situation. The cleaners who did not want to be named confirmed that he had called the police, but did not want to disclose what had happened.
According to the observation, the police will be found on the floor under the flyover, and put the corresponding number card, and the reporter even more surprised to witness the presence of two sharp-pointed bullets. The cleaner is known that he was in the hotel to clean up the dead leaves of the work, but in the bushes near the hotel parking lot, found that there are 7 mysterious bullets of unknown origin, and immediately reported to the police.
Reporters at the scene, until 2 o’clock in the afternoon yesterday, the police are still in the scene of intensive investigation. The police confirmed the matter when they were consulted and said that the case was under investigation.
The police searched for evidence such as bullets. Experts say the bullets in the field are likely to belong to heavy guns.It is observed that the scene was found not fired bullets, and a pointed shape. Retired Detective Leiners (Lionel De souza,74) said the bullets at the scene should be heavy guns, not excluding the M16 rifles, but not the general light pistols.
Leiners said that if the disposal of bullets, the person is likely to do not know how to deal with the bullets, and the choice of a certain amount of traffic in the hotel grass, all still have to go through the police investigation to get to the bottom of the matter.
“The police can identify the gun by forensic identification, and then find out where the bullets are from by contacting departments.” ”
