President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Code “On Subsoil and Subsoil Use”, aimed at improving the subsoil use regulation system.
The new Code covers the following conceptual changes:
– Simplifying the granting of subsurface right in a similar way to the Australian model by introducing a licensing procedure based on ‘first come first served’ principle;
– Transition to the international procedure of reserves appraisal;
– Granting public access to geological information and its digitalization;
– Revising the list of the common commercial minerals;
– Strengthening the field decommissioning provision so that to ensure the environmental safety of the country upon mine closure;
– Providing guarantees for the stability of the existing contracts on subsoil use, etc.

My cousin ordered invisible grill from Legate end getting lousy service plus quality.
Disappointing experience with Legate and their sales personnel. Cancelling our confirmation appointment 1 hour before the appointment.Sending an invoice via whatsapp with illegible handwriting and poor resolution. Could only figure out the pricing.
Providing wrong colour grille which she said could be done the same as the wall colour (obviously forgot when she issue her invoice).Asking to change installation timing 1 day before, which we only agreed to as they indicated work can be completed by 6pm.
However, this is not the case, as the installers (which are very good) make it known on the spot that they can only finish by 8pm. (A lot of effort has been put in to arrange alternative place for baby to have a restful day). Legate definitely had their marketing done well… cos I’m going to remember you for a long long time. My poor window…
Location: sembawang shopping center TENG SHENG KOREAN BBQ & STEAMBOAT
date of visit: 28/12/17 4pm
~ 7 of us (4 adults, 2 kids & an infant) entered the shop at 4pm
~ asked for the total pricing for 7 of us (standing at counter)
~ was quoted $137
~ ok with price quoted & proceeded
*during payment*
~ bill came up to $152
~ male staff said price quoted was before gst
~ made payment but decided to get the male staff’s name as i wanted to make a feedback to their management
~ male staff started shouting at us “why should i give u my name!” (with his fingers pointing right in my face!)
~ i asked “why not? you quoted me a price which i agreed and there is a difference when making a payment. i have already paid but i need to know the name of the staff who gave me a different price. normal isnt it?
~ continue raising his voice, he said “i do not have to give you my name! this is my human rights!”
~ agitated from all his shoutings & finger pointing at me, i told him “you gave me a wrong quotation!”
~ he shouted “one of the kid is above 1.4m he cannot be charged as a kid’s price!”
(pls note that initially he said price quoted was before gst! and then came this reasoning)
~ “am i suppose to know? i am not your staff! we asked you for the pricing before we decided to dine here! now that there is a difference, i just want your name as a reference!” *came another young staff (a girl), offered her help*
female staff: how can i help?
me: i just want his name as a reference as there is a price difference in his initial quotation and actual bill.
female staff: ok..so?
(face palmed)
throughout the whole saga, male staff was still raising his voice and refused to give me his name as reference
*during our meal*
~ service was slow
~ staff was rude & said “that’s all we have!” when we asked if they still have stock for some empty ice cream tub
hooligan way of running a restaurant? took a look at their recent reviews (screenshot attached) all were bad reviews!
We would like to lodge a formal complaint and also take this opportunity to warn other potential agencies and employers. We have collectively decided to send back our helper, aged 24, who is currently residing in Kapten Kesihin, Tulungagung.
As an employer, we have kept our end of the deal by providing her a fully air-conditioned room, bed, dressing table, a wardrobe, unlimited allowance for food, clothings, sanitation, and have also allowed her to communicate with anyone via top-up cards that we buy. She was given free wi-fi, an apple ipad for Youtube and Netflix, during her rest hours (which is not stated, we just gave her the liberty to rest at will). She was also allowed to have a phone to use as long as it doesn’t interfere with daily work. Or so we thought.
We came across her Instagram after several friends and family members raised the red flag. I have attached the screenshots of her activities. Some of the serious offences include:
– Soliciting for sex.
– Drinking beer in my room.
– Taking a photo of my daughter while showering.
– Suspected of sexually grooming my daughter.
– Surfing p*rnography on her phone.
– Disclosing where we live to the public.
– Taught my daughter to open her legs and touch her private parts.
– Repeatedly gave my daughter expired food. We only found out after work when our daughter was vomiting badly.
– Goes out of our house when we are asleep.
– Send my daughter to school an hour early and after the drop off, goes to Clarke Quay and Lucky Plaza to meet her friends which made her late (2 hours) to pick up our daughter.
We have called our agency, and upon the advise of the owner, she have advised us to immediately send her back and write a report to the Ministry of Manpower.
I have asked several employers and the feedback they have given is that, it is still possible for a FDW to return to Singapore on a different passport with a different identity. I’d like to have the assurance that she will be blacklisted from working or even entering the country. I am willing to co-operate with ICA, SPF and other relevant authorities to make sure other employers do not go through the harrowing and traumatic experience that we have went through. We are also currently sending our daughter for psychiatric assessment.
She has been working with us for 1 year, 3 months.
I am going to repeat this for the 87th time: asking people to donate money to support your work is not ‘begging’… You f**king idiots
You look at people all over the internet, there are popular platforms (Kickstarter, Patreon,Gofundme) solely made to facilitate donations between followers and a creator (people who do political videos, film analysis, drawings etc.). Especially now when YouTube is pulling ads from videos with provocative opinions, thousands of Youtubers rely solely on people’s donations to make a living.
People’s donations can make up to 80-90% of a creator’s income. And yes people should donate to their work because the work has quality and the creator spent 1000s of hours of effort honing their craft.
Donating money to support someone’s work is not only common, but celebrated all around the world. Only in backwards as f**k brainwashed hellhole Singapore would people consider someone who asks for donations as ‘begging’. My gosh…compared to the rest of the modern world, Singapore is genuinely clinically retarded
