With new many designs and sometime the hidden design of the car boot its understandable why some its hard to find the opening button of the car boot. Apparently this girl learnt the hard way end up ripping off the car plate instead of opening the boot. leave the man who was trying to help with her stuffs in shock! Hope they manage to put back the license plate back some how??

My comments on Prudential marina bay carnival, because I think pre-awareness is important before you down there.

– This carnival is advertised in a major way like the biggest carnival of S’pore. Don’t fall for it.
– Don’t bring your family on your first visit. They are most probably relying on the children factor to force you to part with your money. Sick technique!
– Just the simple $9 ride for your family of 5 will bring you down $45 already!
– If you see a large crowd at the entrance queuing to buy the ticket-card, DON’T just join the queue. Maybe there’re relying on our kiasu S’porean queuing syndrome too. There’s another entrance for general entry. Go one round the whole carnival and make your own cost-judgement. Then, decide. You can buy tickets in ANY numerous counters inside as well.
– Some prices: The Mach5, which rotates round and round. The cost is $14! The simple viking ride is $9 per head.
I overhead a group of adults calculating that this ride alone will cost them $81, and they rather spend and enjoy somewhere else.
– Half the stalls are the booth types where you have throw or shoot something to get some silly toy. Cost: $5 for 3 tries. You judge yourself is that fair, or you rather pay $5 in a shop and get a better toy.
– There’s a pick-an-anonymous-bag booth. All the toys displayed outside are high-end ones. I watched some of them picked up the bags. The toys inside were nothing like those, it’s some dumb toys.
– I saw people throwing rings into bottles. For the 5-10 mins I stood there, NONE got one ring in, even the guy who tried to cheat by bending forward with his tall height!
– This one was funny, you have to throw a ball into the bucket and you get a prize if it stays in. The bucket is not even far away. But no matter what strategy you use, dunno what rubber the ball is made of, it just bounces out anyway! I saw three families bounce their money away this way.
My take: USS or Cove or any of the established fun-places are MUCH MORE worth your money. This so-called Carnival just seems to be a money-scraping exercise, by a big-company, Prudential, no less. Seems like insurance-scraping money is not enough for them?
Anyway, if you’re okay with these high prices, then ok, go for it. But pre-awareness is very important.

To now share a life with someone that is not your own, it’s such an adventure and I think it’s going to be really exciting and romantic. God I love her so much
Until yesterday, I had never even gotten a 1st kiss or had a single relationship with anyone. I had been rejected by every girl with no success at all for about 13 times (I’m literally not kidding). I knew that both in my thoughts and behaviour, I’m really different from what a typical person in society is and would love, and I was never willing to change my behaviour unless I personally thought that trait of mine was genuinely bad. So…I did it friends, I finally found a girl that I love and who loves me back. And I think…. life has become so much sweeter. I’m so happy right now, this is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life. Just know, no matter how weird, or different or strange you are, there will always be someone out there that loves you, and I hope everyone finds that special person.

APPLE PURPOSELY SLOWS DOWN OLDER IPHONE SO THAT YOU WILL BUY A NEW ONE EVERY YEAR!
Many have claimed that this is a move that intentionally ‘forces’ the users to upgrade their mobiles yearly, just like those Apple staff that charges you a large amount of money for repairs and say ‘might as well get a new Apple product.’
This accusation came about when users, complaining of a sudden shutdown (their phones randomly shutdown after their battery is half charged) on their iPhone 6 and 7 variants. Apple provided the software update to fix this issue. Users then did a benchmark of their phones when they purchased and after this fix. During these 2 comparisons, they realized that the benchmarks were slower after software updates.
When approached, Apple claimed that they did it intentionally to ensure the phone will run smoothly as their batteries get older. A test with an old phone with a new battery confirms this. When this explanation surfaced, there was backlash claiming that they were not clear on this matter to begin with.
By doing this, users will believe that their phone is slower with age and that they would have to upgrade to the latest model every time when the actual fault was the battery itself.

Han Lay was released in 2010 and started to work as a cleaner. In just 6 years, he was promoted to the role of an operations manager.
Five years later, Han Lay started his own company with his wife and offered jobs to ex-offenders. Han Lay and his wife also started volunteering as prison counsellors.
