*Return of CPF money after selling your property.*
Recently, I was asked by CPF Board to return the total amount I used my CPF money plus interest when I sold my apartment.
I was shocked and asked CPF staffs why I need to return my money when I already 66 years old, they said it a new rule regardless of your age.
The amount I need to pay back is more than my selling price because of the accrued interest.
Instead of asking back my 50% I took from my retirement fund they wanted the whole amount plus interest over 20 years.
Why should I pay interest for my own money and why should I return my money when CPF had released my fund when I reached 55 years old?
This has caused me financially because upfront I have to use my saving to pay agent commission, lawyer fee, flat rental, mover and other charges.
CPF Board kept my whole selling price for 15 days without interest and returned my money after deducting the 50% of my retirement fund I pledge for my property.
Apparently, only those who sold their properties were notified by the CPF Board of such unreasonable rules especially so for those way above 55 years old
😰
Please let your friends and family members know of such hidden and unreasonable CPF rules which will affect the seniors who dont have spare money upfront for payment, hence affecting the sale proceedings

Taxpayers and SMRT will pay for the ferry buses along East-West MRT line for the next 7 months or so.
It has been reported that LTA & SMRT will share the cost also.
For other shuttle services between Joon Koon and Gul Circle MRT stations also.
Oh wow, tax payer got share in the company profit? Why tax payer need to be punished for the transport operator failure?
why? not everyone use that? it’s not taxpayers nor passengets fault that smrt is not doing its job? smrt should be responsible for these. how about paying/compensating commuters who were affected by their frequent breakdowns – loss of time, maybe some missed flight, missed exams, lost deals etc etc,

This incident just happened 5 minutes ago at Jurong West Blossom. A neighborhood cat was spotted with two cable ties (one on the front leg and one on the back) tied tightly. As you can see from the video, he was screaming in distress.
Rashal Savage and I were on the way home when we heard him. Lucky to have been curious enough to investigate where the noise was coming from. I ran up to take two pairs of scissors. As Rashal was calming him down, a male passerby helped to ease the situation.
With his help, we managed to set the cat free after assessing his well-being. He ran off after being freed.
Please share this post to create awareness and teach others not to harm the neighborhood animals. And hopefully we can work together to catch the culprits of animal abuse.

Goods and service Taxes (GST) could soon be required on online business buys as the Government hopes to differentiate its duty base and catch an incentive from this quickly developing area, specialists said.
This could mean getting enormous web based business players to enlist for GST here on the off chance that they pitch to Singapore purchasers, or getting the clients themselves to pay assess on the products and enterprises they purchase on the web.
Their remarks come after Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance Indranee Rajah said in a meeting with Bloomberg on Tuesday (Nov 21) that internet business will probably go under the neighborhood charge administration soon.
“You can envision, quite a while from now, the way individuals buy is altogether different and at that point online stages will be backbones, so if that is not some portion of the duty administration, there will be a considerable measure of openings there,” she said.
