Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who injured an on-duty Traffic Police officer.
On 17 November 2017 at about 9.20pm, the 26-year-old Traffic Police officer had stopped the car along Bedok Reservoir Road, while conducting enforcement checks. When the officer approached the car, the driver suddenly accelerated the car towards him.
The Traffic Police officer suffered multiple injuries and has been conveyed to hospital for treatment.
The Police have located the car, which was found abandoned at Cedar Avenue. We have established the driver of the car to be Lee Cheng Yan, a 34-year-old Chinese man. The Police are looking for him to aid in police investigation.
Anyone with information on this person can call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
The Police thank the members of the public who had provided assistance after the hit-and-run incident.
Just like an action movie, we see here a pair of vigilantes chasing a law-breaker through the busy roads of Singapore.
We can see from the video that the Maserati was breaking multiple laws (as well as the motorcyclist. Please do not do that in the future as to not endanger yourself).
We believe justice will be served, but please do not break the law just to prove a point.
Make do with what you have? An elderly uncle was seen drinking beer with his friends through a nasal catheter.
We have no right to say what he should or should not do through whatever illness that he may have. When your buddies call you up for a drink, be it at any happy or gloomy event, you do not want to let them down.
This lady with her 5-6 year old son just came into my store at Hougang Mall PLAYe and stole at least 2 pcs of PS4 games.
At 28secs into the video, u can clearly see that she put one of the games into her paper bag. The other games were stolen at almost the end of the video.

On 12 November 2017, Sunday, my grandmother had a terrible and frustrating experience at a Macpherson community event (see attached picture).
My grandmother, who has osteoporosis and who has suffered stroke last year, was made to stand in-line and waited for more than 2 hours from 5.45pm to 8pm before the ration was distributed even though distribution time is stated as 6pm!
My grandmother mentioned that many of the old folks gave up waiting and left without collecting the ration.
Why were the old folks made to wait for so long when the time of distribution is stated as 6pm? Were they waiting for some VIPs to arrive? Is the arrival of the VIPs more important than the old folks standing in-line for so long?
The promised ration is supposed to require a shopping cart to bring back. But it was just a small bag of rice (see picture). It is outrageous that these old folks were made to stand in-line and waited for so long just for this tiny amount of rice. In fact, my grandmother felt so cheated. If she had known it was just a small bag of rice, she would not even have gone to this event.
Is there a geniue concern for the old folks in the estate on the part of the organiser?
Or is this just a community event that the organiser is trying to put on record that they have done so much for the residents in Macpherson, so that they can brag about in the next General Election?
On 14 November 2017, the police received a report from a 60-year-old woman who was cheated of $80 000 in a police impersonation scam. She had earlier received a call from someone claiming to be a police officer who informed that her bank accounts had been used for money laundering purposes and investigations were ongoing. She was told to provide her personal information and was warned not to share details of the investigations with others.
The victim subsequently received a call from another person who directed her to a webpage resembling the Singapore Police Force’s website. She was instructed to key in her bank account details and passwords while at the webpage. The victim later lodged a report after finding out that a huge sum of money had been transferred from her bank accounts without her consent. Investigations are ongoing.
Do note that the official SPF website is www.police.gov.sg. We would like to advise the public to be cautious when answering unsolicited calls from unknown parties. Good morning KNT Movers in Singapore & House Mover. Your driver parked on Koon Seng road this morning at 8:35am. It was a pedestrian crossing zone and single lane roads. He caused a traffic jam and refused to move. There’s a reason why it’s marked as a pedestrian zone. Time to educate your drivers.
