I sure most you guys gotten the NS50 vouchers some happy some just feeling meh. Complain about it say too little end up still use it right? LOL. I was showing off to my younger sister telling how I did and serve the nation that I was rewarded with the vouchers just to rub into her no harm intended cos I like to disturb her and see her reaction. Which she just stomp away complaining to my mom saying what a bad brother I was.

With that I was thinking what should I be spending the vouchers on I placed it in drawer and went to sleep. It was the weekend so I slept till late. But when I woke I realise the vouchers wasn’t in my drawer any more that why I realise my sister was the one to take my vouchers cos I always take her things too! ;p

In the end she came back telling how embarrassed she felt when she realised the vouchers need my NIRC to redeem LOL!

During my student days when I dating my girlfriend who is my current wife, I used to be quite a fit guy and even though I didn’t manage to have a six pack my stomachs was close to flat. You know after when working life starts the time for exercise start to take a back seat. I mean in Singapore you would need to work longer hours than usual and with deadline to meet from demanding bosses and also the need to give your attention to your wife I had close to zero exercising time.

My flat stomach started to evolve into nice and round family pack. Out of the suddenly when I chilling with my wife at sofa watching Korean drama she starting commenting saying my belly was getting big and took a tug at it.

I replied don’t you just find it cute and huggable. Then she pointed at the Korean actor on the screen and NO! That is then called cute! She then added “how about this you been putting much weight tomorrow onwards you only can eat bananas for your meal else you be sleeping in the living room.”

At first, I thought she was joking till she say you want to facetime me when during my lunch time and dinner I was to come home to eat. Damn those Korean drama!

On 23 October 2017, an arriving Malaysia-registered motorcycle, driven by a lone 27-year-old male Malaysian, was directed for further checks at Tuas Checkpoint.

Officers from Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) uncovered two bundles of suspected controlled drug wrapped in black tape hidden inside the left and right fairings of the motorcycle. The man was placed under arrest and the case was handed over to the CNB for further investigations. The two bundles were later found to contain a total of about 1kg of cannabis, estimated to be worth about S$10,000.

Under the Misuse of Drugs Act, those convicted of trafficking in more than 500g of cannabis may face the death penalty. 1,000g of cannabis is sufficient to feed the addiction of about 143 abusers for a week.

Such method of concealment is a cause of concern as it may be used by persons with ill intent to smuggle security items into Singapore.

Mr Rice guy no more..

In an attempt to evade detection, a 40-year-old Malaysian man concealed 20 packets of duty-unpaid cigarettes underneath cooked rice in an ice cream tub. This method did not fool our vigilant ICA officers at the Woodlands checkpoint.

He was handed over to Singapore Customs for investigations and was subsequently charged and sentenced to a court fine of $2,600.

Such method of concealment is a cause of concern as it may be used by persons with ill intent to smuggle security items into Singapore.

Don’t pump petrol at Petronas Sepang (Opposite Sepang International Circuit)!

Their fuel contained water!

Here is the case, I went to the Petronas station filled full tank of Ron95 at the station on last Wednesday(8/6/16). After i drove off from the station about 500m away and my car can’t accelerate at all. Was tried to restart my car and drive slowly back to town for checking on my car but end up my car engine died at the roundabout. The starter turns well so it can’t be the problem of the battery.

So I decided to the tow truck bring my car from Sepang all the way to Proton Service Center located at Pandan Indah. It cost me rm106 after deduct the insurance covered rate. After few days on checking every parts of my car, the technician found there are lot of water contained in my fuel tank and thats the main cause on this incident.

Petronas fuel’s contain water? The secret of winning formula? Leaking water into the underground fuel tank?

Please avoid to refill at this petrol station. This might happen in other petrol station too. Please aware!
