BEWARE! BLUR C**K FURNITURE COMPANY DELIVERY WRONG FURNITURE 4 TIMES!

Ok.. this is abit too much.. tell me.. how hard can it be. You had 1 job. ONE FREAKING EASY Job n u got it wrong. Sent 3x n still wrong… surely u r not sincere..! I tell u all my story..

We went to EXPO sometime in March just to jalan2 survey some furniture. We saw this TV console its quite nice. They didnt state the price. A big guy name Victor approached us so we asked how much. He DIDNT reply. Instead he invited us to sit down to see the catalogue.. I honestly don wan. But he keeps saying no obligations just see only.. ok we sat down. Each time we asked how much he didnt answer n talked abt something else. He then offered us a leather sofa. I really have bad feeling for this (the way he talk n sell his things) but the price he quoted us for the sofa is quite tempting.. so we bought ..

Fast forward.. they suppose to deliver 1st August. But on that day they said there has been a mixed up w other orders. Colour is wrong. Ok schedule another day.

The 2nd time came wrong again.. ok schedule for 3rd time.

3rd time AGAIN WRONG colour.. and they promised to pick up n delivered the correct one..n keep rescheduled..

Finally, they came today… but guess what… WRONG AGAIN..!

Wow..how hard can it be ah??! There are codes for all colour for what??.. wrote down the code in invoice still wrong..!!

Please please avoid this company..! This is a perfect example of horrible customer service.. !

They don care about customer satisfaction they only care about the money. I say they r a con company..

This is just 70% of the story.. I didnt mention how this Victor hard sell this, how Victor beg us to not refund and trust him, the frustrations we had to contact them, changing of dates and how this fella just kept quiet after sales etc. Beep me if u want to hear full story…

These sofa might be recycled ones.. or only had certain colours (when it suppose to made to order) they purposely send wrong one n expect us to accept it…
N we also know they have many bad reviews.. we have become one of their victims…

N do take note they always at EXPO..

The 2nd pict on the left which i circled is the one we ordered but on 2nd delivery they sent far right corner (beige colour), 3rd delivery is the (dark brown colour).. so tell me did my eyes play tricks on me..???

MAN LOCK HIMSELF WITH GAS TANK @ MARSILING AFTER THREATENING TENANTS

Police have arrested a man who had locked himself up in a flat in Marsiling Drive believed to be armed with a knife. It was understood that the man had threatened a Malaysian couple who were tenants living in the seventh floor unit of Block 1.

The couple were undertood to be trying to move out of the unit, which they had occupied since 2014. SCDF were informed of the incident around 1 pm on Wednesday, and had evacuated the neighbouring units as LPG was detected in the affected unit. Police confirmed that the man had barricaded himself in the unit.

The couple later told the media that the man was the owner of the unit, and had been paranoid recently about being arrested by the police. BEWARE! CHERRYLOFT CHALET. SHOWERS WITH BOILING WATER. 9 Y.O SCALDED

A netizen checked into Cherryloft chalet 2 days ago, but little did she expect that her young child would end up getting scalded by boiling hot water spewing out a dislodged shower head in the bathroom!

The incident took place on 5 September 2017 at about 4.50PM, when the family had checked into the chalet and just returned from a swim.
When the family’s 9 year-old daughter went to take a bath, her parents were distressed to hear the little girl screaming from the bathroom after a while. They rushed in and saw that the little girl had been badly scalded by a showerhead that had been disconnected from the hose.
The girl was rushed to the nearest 24 hour clinic where a doctor treated the girl for 1st degree burns and told them to take care of the wounds or they would get infected.
I have checked in to cherryloft chalet on the 5th Sep 2017.
When asked what had happened in the shower, the girl said that she was bathing halfway when the hose dislodged from the showerhead and hot water sprayed out of the hose, which caused her to scream in pain.
When the family returned to the chalet management and demanded an explanation, the duty manager could not answer their queries so the family sought out a senior manager named Mr Joel Teh. When asked to bear responsibility for the incident, Mr Teh allegedly told them that as he was not present in the room when the incident happened, he could not be sure if someone had not tampered with the showerhead before the incident. If so, this would excuse the management from any blame for failing to ensure their shower facilities were in proper working order.
The family were extremely unhappy with the manager’s response, and alleged that they have since posted a negative review of the chalet only for their review to be removed off the chalet’s Facebook!
The mother of the scalded child, who wanted to be known as Mrs Angry, wrote: “I find that as a senior management, this is not how you show concern since this incident happened in your chalet. As a Singaporean, I feel ashamed on how a senior management manage and push their responsibility.. I have no more confidence in cherryloft chalet and immediately check out early morning the next day.. 6 nights stay become only 1 night stay. Regarding the medical claim, the management will send their insurance company to investigate whether it was justifiable to reimburse back the medical bills.”

‘ATAS’ NTU GIRL THINKS SPF & SCDF ARE LOW CLASS JOBS DONE BY ‘SOME PEOPLE’

0

The below paragraph is written by the confessor with some correction from us.

“Dilemma. Huge one. My boyfriend of two years have decided to be an SCDF regular. Initially I was Ok until my parents commented that it is a dirty hands-on job done by certain people only. To me, personally, army is still OK but SPF or SCDF is low class jobs done by “some people” only.

I tried to convince by boyfriend because he has a degree, why should he do that kind of job but all those pleas fell on deaf ears. I feel like I need to save my parents’ face too. And with that kind of manual labour job, i can forget about having a posh wedding.

Whenever my friends asked me what kind of profession he is in, I would just lie and say that he is doing some business startup with no concrete plans yet.

Any advice?”

PREGNANT DOG WHICH HAD BAD TICK-INFESTATION GET A NEW LEASE OF LIFE!

0

PrettyMa, a Cockapoo mix, was a pregnant dog in a tick-infested house. She was among eight other health-stricken dogs that had to be rehomed.

On 11th April 2017, a Facebook appeal to help a pregnant dog was sent out. Estee and two volunteers were appalled when they viewed PrettyMa the next day. As they stood in shock, they could feel ticks crawling up their legs. It was obvious that the dogs have had severe tick infestation for a while. Their gums and tongues were deathly pale – a sign that help was needed immediately.

Estee took in two dogs, one of which was PrettyMa. She worked labouriously to detick them. However, three days of hard work did little to rid them of ticks. Prettyma’s severe tick infection was compounded by her unborn babies. She needed a blood transfusion urgently which, luckily, was quickly administered at the vet clinic. Her puppies were born ten days after her rescue! For the next four months, Estee nursed PrettyMa back to health. Due to her previously inadequate socialisation, PrettyMa would growl and bark at everything and snapped at people’s heels if they approached her puppies. It was only after rehabilitation and with her puppies growing up that PrettyMa calmed down and became suitable for rehoming.

Meanwhile, Carmen had been searching for the one dog that she could feel a connection with. She wanted an outdoor companion who could motivate her into leading a healthier lifestyle while bringing love and care into her house. In May, she attended a SOSD adoption drive and was assessed by the SOSD rehoming team. The instant Carmen met PrettyMa, she felt a strong trust and closeness. Estee, the fosterer, was surprised. Carmen said that none of the previous dogs she met matched PrettyMa better in personality and interaction. It was clear to Carmen that PrettyMa was meant for her.

And so it happened. Carmen took PrettyMa home, where Asia the cat also resided. Even though the two animals are given their own special rooms, PrettyMa likes Carmen so much that she follows Carmen around the house all the time. The two’s daily routine includes morning and evening walks at the park nearby. While Carmen is out at work, PrettyMa and Asia will keep each other company in the house. Sometimes, Carmen pops in during lunchtime to check on them. On some weekends, Carmen brings PrettyMa out to visit their dog friends. Recently, the two had a reunion with PrettyMa’s sister and PrettyMa’s puppies.

Carmen believes a rescued dog can be just as lovely and beautiful as other dogs. These dogs will respond to a caring family with love. Carmen says that although you may have to wait, stay patient and the dog that is meant for you will eventually show up.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH A GIRL I MET LAST OF SCHOOL BUT SOMETIME FATE HAS IT WAY TO TORMENT US!

0

I fell in love with a girl I met on the last day of school.

She was in my grammar class. I had never spoken to her before, but she left an impression on me. She was cute, had a bob of hair, wore bright red flats, asked smart questions, and gave good presentations. An English major myself, I had a small crush.

On the last day of my undergrad, I saw her get on my bus. I was sitting at the back. She sat in the middle. I told myself to go talk to her. I told myself it was the last day of school, and that I had nothing to lose.

The A1 stopped at the library, she got off, and I quickly dashed after her.

“Hi!” I said a bit too loudly.

She stared at me with wide eyes, wondering who I was.

“I’m in your grammar class,” I explained quickly. “I loved your presentation on Singlish.”

Her shock turned to delight, and we began to chat about the course, our degrees, and what we were doing after graduation.

She had to rush off, but I saw her later that day in the class that we had together. We had a snack party because it was our last class, and we continued to chat. We talked about books we loved, our time at NUS, and our passion for the humanities even though many people around us didn’t think it was practical. She was about to move to Japan to teach English. I was staying in Singapore for grad school.

The class came to an end, we wished each other good luck with life after university, and I told her it was too bad that we didn’t meet earlier. I didn’t make many friends during my undergrad, and it was nice to know that someone existed out there who seemed to see things eye to eye with me. She said the same.

We went off in opposite directions, but a minute later, I stopped in my tracks, ran after her, and called her name. She had a smile on her face. I told her that as English grads we should keep in touch. She said she’d like that, so we exchanged numbers and added each other on Facebook.

We ended up chatting online that very night. And the next day. And the next. We met a few times to study for our final. We chatted more – we didn’t do much studying. After our final, I asked her out to dinner. We stayed out until 2 in the morning, walking around the city.

At the time, I had just left a relationship of two years. It wasn’t a good one. There was a lot of breaking up and getting back together. My ex and I knew we weren’t right for one another, but couldn’t bear to leave. We hadn’t been faithful to one another either.

I told the new girl about this. She told me that she had a challenging relationship too. She wasn’t from Singapore, and had an older boyfriend back home who was hoping for her to return and start a family with him. She wasn’t ready yet. She wanted to see the world.

The final we took together was our last final, so we both had a lot of free time. We saw each other every day. We went for walks on the beach, explored the city with our cameras, and, after her roommate moved out, I’d visit every night after taking her home. The first time I went, I saw her large bookshelf. The books on it were almost identical to the ones on my own. We talked about the writers we loved and the ideas we loved. That was when I knew I had fallen for her.

We were running out of time together because she was about to fly back home, and from there, Japan. So one evening, after a movie, I confessed my feelings for her. She smiled and told me that things couldn’t work, but it was nice that we had the time together as friends. Then that night when I was about to leave, she told me not to go. We gave each other a big hug, locked eyes for a while, and had our first kiss.

The next morning, she gave me a call, and sounded very serious for someone I was able to chat so openly with just the night before. She couldn’t sleep, and had Skyped her boyfriend and told him what had happened. He forgave her, but told her not to see me again.

I had booked a restaurant for us that evening because she was leaving the next day. It was a fancy restaurant. I promised her that it was just a goodbye as friends, and after some whining on my part, she agreed.

We both dressed up for the dinner and had a great time. She had mussels and fries. I had steak. We talked about the serendipity of our friendship.

I joked that I said hi to girls on the bus all the time. She was upset for a moment before I told her that the truth was in fact the opposite: I never said hi to anyone even in class.

She told me she was glad I said hi to her. She told me that she liked that I was brave.

We said bye to one another outside. But when we gave each other a final hug, we couldn’t let go. I didn’t want to say goodbye, I told her. She said the same. After a moment eyeing one another, we kissed.

We went back to her place and I ended up spending the night.

I had work the next day, so our final, final goodbye before she got on her plane was a bus that we rode together. Looking back, it feels poetic that our last goodbye was on a bus. We held each other’s hands so tightly and didn’t say much.

Would things work out? We didn’t know. She had a boyfriend. She was moving away.

But before I got off the bus to make my way to work, she told me she loved me. From the sidewalk, I waved goodbye to her, and her me. The bus drove off and tore our gazes apart.

As soon as I got to work, I went into the washroom and cried quietly.

Things fell apart soon after. She told me she couldn’t leave her boyfriend. I told her that I loved her, but in my loneliness, I went back to my ex. My ex ended up sending her a message, and told her that I didn’t really love her because I had gone back to my ex.

The girl sent me a final email, telling me that I had betrayed her trust because I had told her that I loved her while I was actually with someone else. She told me that we could never talk again. She blocked me on Facebook so I couldn’t see what she was up to.

Time passed. I’d send her an email every month, telling her how I was doing. She never replied. I eventually stopped.

Two years later, I graduated from my masters. I thought of her again, and decided to make a fake Facebook account and see what she was doing because she had blocked me. It turns out she married her boyfriend back home.

My own relationship ended up a wreck, as expected, but things are better now for me. Though I still think of what happened with that girl every time I pass somewhere we went.

It was torture for a long time because the house she rented a room in was on my commute to school every day. I’d think about her all the time.

The other day, I took the bus to that house and decided to look around. It was empty and overgrown, because they’re about to redevelop it into condos. I peeked through the windows into her old room and thought back to our time together. I hope she knows how much she still means to me.
