A post on NUSWhispers has caught the attention of many after a girl posted.

“If my boyfriend plays dating simulators, does it count as cheating on me?”

The netizens responds were epic

“If your boyfriend plays a necromancer in Diablo 3, are you dating a necrophiliac?”
“No right? Because gaming is gaming. Real life is real life.”

“Counter question – does it amount to cheating if you (female counterpart) ogle over let’s say a Korean male star? “Is it cheating on similar grounds or more severe because it’s reality over virtual?”

“Ya, it counts. That day I drive Initial D in arcade then I crashed. Went off without a care but next time kana summon cos I damaged government property without reporting.”

GRASS CUTTER HURL ROCK TO WOMAN CAUSING DEEP CUT!

I am always wary when I see a grass cutting machine, or even those foreign workers who cut the grass. Whenever i walk near them, I hope and pray that nothing serious will ever happen.

My fears were proven right, when I saw a report that said a woman was hit by a rock allegedly tossed up by a grass cutting machine in Tampines. She was taken to hospital after she was hit on the right side of her forehead, and left a deep cut.

The woman, a hairdresser, said she was attending to a customer when she saw the grass cutting machine being operated nearby. She decided to go outside her shop to remove some towels that was being aired, worried about the debris that would dirty them. This was when she was hit by a palm sized rock.

The injuries were not serious, and the worker operating the machine has stopped work temporarily. Tampines Town Council has not responded to the media about the incident. So I was right, those grass cutters are dangerous.

BF HIT GF 5 TIMES BECAUSE GIRL TALK TO OTHER GUYS!

came across this post about a girl got beaten up 5 times by her BF because she was just talking to her male friend and her BF still can tell her friend that he is teaching her a lesson.

Do you think a man should lay hands on his woman? You be the judge.

NSMAN IN THE EARLY 1980 SHARES HIS GHOSTLY EXPERIENCE WHILE IN CAMP!

I had 3 ghostly encounters before, one at Ubin in 1983, one at Tekong (ITD Camp-3) in 1988, one at Sentosa in 1986. Of those three, Sentosa encounter was the one that got me sick for unknown reasons. After going there one night I became unconscious.

I wasted 2 days sleeping (or black out, which I have no idea which is which) on bed, can’t walk properly, but amazing recovered almost instantly after touching down on Singapore mainland (note: There wasn’t a bridge linking mainland to Sentosa back in 1986, can only take ferry).

I wasn’t alone or with just a couple of friends but a bunch of 20+ friends, they all knew my case.Since then, none of us ever walk close to the last 3 chalets Blk-X to Blk-Z (if the chalet since exist now) located remotely near a beach in Sentosa.

I GOT PUNCHED IN THE FACE BECAUSE I TRIED TO TALK MY FRIEND OUT MLM!

Photo for illustration

Ten years ago, when i was in NS there was huge MLM craze. I think it is still probably there. One of my sec sch classmate insisted that MLM is legitimate and he joined it. As a good friend, i decided to talk him out of it while we were at another friend house.

He insisted that he was right and punched me. He eventually realised his folly as he lost his hard earned money being told to repeatedly buy inventory that couldnt sell. He started working at fast food resturant from sec 2 onwards, and waited at the occasional banquets, so had a considerable savings.

Well ten years later our clique still meet up. Moral of the story: MLM as a plague will haunt generations of NSFs. MLM feeds on hope! People survive on hope and will not voluntarily leave it till they have one room full of health products, magnetic bracelets, or pills with which you can get a fraction of the price at guardian or watson, and zero savings.

Tldr: To avoid getting punch in the face, dont intervene too much! But if you are a good friend, take that punch!

Man TO BE JAIL 14 MONTH FOR INVOLVEMENT OF ZOUK OUT TICKET SALE SCAM

On 29/6, a 27-year-old man who fooled more than 20 individuals into trusting that he had ZoukOut 2016 tickets and hotel apartment stays for transaction online was punished with 14 months’ imprisonment

Azmi Zanal, who had a total of 34 charges to be face, pleaded guilty to nine counts of deceitful and one charge of  taking methamphetamine or Ice.

The entire sum tangled was $4,285. He merely completed reimbursement of $100 to a 19-year-old woman.

He bluffed his victims out of the amount between $40 and $400 each last year from September to December.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Eric Hu told the court that in early September last year, Azmi formed e-mail addresses and listed several Carousell accounts with numerous user names, offering ZoukOut tickets and hotel apartment stops for sale when he had no intent to convey the merchandises.

The targets saw his online ads and took order of ZoukOut tickets from him. He didn’t provide the things after they had wired the money as bank payments to his bank account.

On Dec 9, 2016, a 19-year-old man was cheated into reimbursing $300 to Azmi for the only charge concerning a hotel stay at Le Meridien.

On Dec 13 last year, Azmi was under arrest at Genting Hotel Jurong in Town Hall Link. His urine sample from him was discovered to contain methamphetamine upon analysis

In sentencing twenty-four other charges were taken into reflection.

Azmi, whose sentence was backdated to Dec 15, could have been jailed for up to 10 years and/or fined for each charge of cheating.

The maximum punishment for drug consumption is 10 years’ jail and a $20,000 fine.

SCDF was alerted to a fire at 28 Tuas Avenue 10 at about 4:10 pm. Upon SCDF’s arrival, the warehouse was well alight.

The deep seated fire involved scrap metals and plastic materials. Firefighters encircled the fire, an area of about 20 metres by 20 metres, with 8 water jets, 1 unmanned firefighting machine and 1 aerial firefighting platform. Foaming operations were also conducted.

The fire was extinguished at about 5.30pm and damping down operations are currently in progress.

Two workers from the warehouse have been conveyed to Singapore General Hospital by SCDF ambulances for burn injuries.

A total of 80 firefighters and 21 emergency vehicles were involved in the operation.

*Damping down is a term used by SCDF to describe the application of water to wet burnt surfaces immediately after the fire is put out. This is to prevent any potential rekindle of fire from the hot burnt surfaces
