According to the Local DJ’s Facebook, she seems to be unhappy about her Uber rides.
“I CAN’T EVER RELAX IN MY UBER RIDES CUZ THE DRIVERS RELY SO MUCH ON THEIR FKIN GPS THAT THEY’D IGNORE REAL LIFE ROAD SIGNS THAT WOULD LEAD THEM TO MY DESTINATION SOONER.”

SCAM ALERT – CLAIMS TO BE ICA OFFICER. BUT NUMBER FROM AUSTRAILIA!!
I’m writing to alert general public: I received a SCAM CALL from the number 63916100 today. It was showing as ICA Singapore number so I trusted initially and carried on the conversation. The person who called spoke in a Singaporean accent and pretended to be an ICA Officer.
He mentioned that I had filled in some incorrect information in the immigration form and that I am required to deposit around $2000 to India via Western Union to Gurpreet Kaur and Dipali Ray and that I should fill the address as Janakpuri New Delhi 110054. He asked me not to mention it to anyone or I will be in trouble and that I shouldn’t hang up. I maintained a studied quiet and googled in my phone his number and other information he had provided to me like his name (John Mathew) and his batch ID ICA2120. Then I asked him to verify himself and he said he’s trying to help me. I immediately called 999. They asked me to block the number. Then I started receiving calls from several other numbers like +61292791991 and others as in my block list screenshot.
From my experience the guy who was on the call was very convincing and smart and has the potential to fool anyone to extract money. I have informed the police and they have promised to advertise this scam in public interest. This is a serious issue as the number is displayed as ICA’s number and the caller had the audacity to call me again and again.
Please alert everyone in your workplace, neighborhood and house.

NETIZEN SHARES: HOW TO HANDLE YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL BULLY

I said it once before and I will say it here again.
NEVER let bullies ill-treat your family members, especially your child. Victims of long-term bullying can lose all their self esteem and fear going to school. It is not uncommon either that victims of long-term bullying committed suicide.
Schools are quite incapable of handling bullies, simply because their punishments do not work on them.
It just gets worse when the school issues punishments.
1. Have your child learn self-defence and give him/her that permission to use what he/she learnt if they are caught in such situations, as long as it is only in self-defence and they have that responsibility to know when to not hold back. Everyone has the right to defend themselves and any school who tells you that your child hitting someone back is wrong or that two rights don’t make a wrong, tell the principal to let you hit him and he should not retaliate or defend himself.
2. If your child cannot defend himself, be it out of fear or lacking the skills to do so, inform the school and call the police immediately when the bullying gets physical. Do not give the schools the position to decide whats best for your kid because most of the times, the schools only decide whats best for the school and not the victim.
3. When all else fails, it is up to you, the parent, to take matter in your own hands. Protecting your family is your priority, no matter what means, especially if the schools and police prove incapable of dealing with it.
If you are the kind of parent who thinks that parents should leave the kids to settle things between themselves in a physical bullying situation, I am sorry to say you need to reevaluate your role as a parent because you are just finding an excuse to shirk a messy but unavoidable responsibility to the child. Your kid is not exposed yet to the real world on how to best react in such situations, especially if they do not know how to defend themselves. This has nothing to do with strengthening character or a part of growing up. You cannot strengthen his/her character if your child has lost all self-esteem and such situations cannot be a part of growing up if he/she is already dead.
It is up to you, the parent, to defend them at all cost.

This women who manage the Dim Sum section at Koufu-Novena outlet is very rude. This is the second time I patron this stall being service by the same staff, the same or should say from bad to worse attitude!
Koufu management should send their staff for course or fire them if they’re so unhappy working over there as I notice that most Koufu stall staff is having a very bad attitude towards customers nowadays.
Gently say “hello” no respond from her, slightly rise up my voice thinking my first hello is too soft for her, again no respond continue her back facing me.
Rise up my voice further on the forth try then she unwillingly turn her head, stare at me say ” can’t you see I’m busy ma?” and just turn her back facing me again, what the….-O-

When reached i told them they got a match than start trip. So this auntie ask drop where? I say bt batok. Than later she say she want to drop off cos she’s in a hurry. 80 Y.O FIGHT WITH 70 Y.O GRANDMA OVER UMBRELLA AT AMK. UNTIL KNEE BROKEN!!

An 80-year-old grandma fought with her 70-year-old colleague at Ang Mo Kio which resulted in the 80-year-old to broke her knee.
The incidents happened when the two met each other by coincidence at Ang Mo Kio. The two fought over an umbrella and starting hitting each other with handbags. Later on in the fight, the 80-year-old was choked by the hand bags.
What happens next was that she loses her balance which resulted in a fall. Her knee was broke in the fall and she had to limp home abandoning her bicycle. The argument eventually leads to one accusing another of stealing the handbag.
The police are investigating this incident.
