I would like to share my experience with Sparkletots Childcare at Tech Whye BLK 19 for any parents who may be considering a childcare centre in the area.

I have withdrawn my 18 month old son just a week after having first enrolled him with them. In this week alone, we found several bruises on my son’s forehead, back and legs. I did not think much of it at the start but grew concerned as he came back with a new bruise each

There was no mention of this by any of the teachers or principal. When picking him up from school each day they would tell me he was good and active. As my son started to lose weight we asked if he had been eating well during the day they told me not to worry, that they always make the children finish their meals even if my child could not yet eat on his own or speak. Yet toward the end of the week they changed their tune and said that he would simply take a spoonful or two of his food and then run off to play, that they had too many children to take care of and cannot focus too much time on each child.

I was worried and decided to stay behind on a particular day to try and get a look for myself. I was shocked. I saw my son, held by his ankles by the teacher, was struggling as he was pressed down by the teacher’s elbow on his back. I knew how his bruises had come about. When the teacher saw me outside looking in she immediately let him go and passed my son to another teacher. I was furious and went in to see the principal.

After insisting on reviewing the CCTV the principal confirmed the incident, apologized, promised to take action ans assure me that teacher will not be handling my son. Naturally I criticized the teacher for her mishandling of my child when she came and apologized the next day. The next day, i found another bruise on my son’s stomach and i withdrew him from the Childcare.

Dear parents please take care in considering the type of care for your child. I hope you do not exprience what I have but I worry that this might be happening to other children who are not yet able to communicate well. Sorry for the long post.

Update: The complainant has since made a police report on the matter.

It was reduced to skin and bones and had a large open wound on its tail. Its bum was so raw the caregiver could not tell if it was a male or female.

The horrific brown stains in the riser show that it had been struggling desperately inside to get out. By the time it was found, it had given up. Sadly, the cat died before it could be rushed to the vet.

This is clearly a deliberate act of cruelty. The authorities have been alerted to retrieve any CCTV information. We are also organizing a door-to-door at Blk 577 on Saturday afternoon to seek information on this sadistic act. Whoever who could have done this cannot get away with it. Lodging police report against

Comfort delgro taxi driver SHA 4582 K.

Both of us were riding a bike at SLE around 12 midnight on 15 Feb, we were riding at the speed cam so speed limit was 85-90km/hr, but this driver tailgated me pushing me to change lane, whereas u could overtake at the 1st lane. He chose to high beam me and accelerate drive side by side in a single lane on the 2nd lane. Purposely finding fault with us bcos he saw us talking ( the road wasn’t packed with vehicles; he could just change lane since he is the one in hurry )

Asked the driver to stop when he stop at traffic light, but he just moved off without giving any consideration to our safety of riders. There’s a camera on his taxi.

He abrupt lane change and swerving in our lane, purposely jamming on his breaks. followed him all the way till Comfort Delgro. He doesn’t want to cooperate, luckily there are no injuries.

The reason why we bring this matter up: there are too many accidents between a cab driver and our riders.

Ok ok, let’s take it that they have some special care or technology for the birds in the bird park and can prevent the disease to spread to human beings.

I rented my unit to an FT for 1year lease when it was about to end he had asked for an extension but had put forward some terms which I was not agreeing on…..and it dragged weeks after months have past he keeps changing his mind from time to time tho his contract ended he paid rent and carry on staying another 2months. Finally, he convinced me and we both agreed on a new sofa and a 2yrs lease…..with 3months min stay than 2months termination notice.
I had met him a couple of times and had passed him the new contract when he was contemplating on whether to sign 2 yrs contract.every month he would text me asking for a signed copy but I ignored.

When Nov started I was going to go Overseas so I told him that he can leave if he still doesn’t want to sign the contract even after receiving the new sofa as promised.

He gave excuses saying that he had placed one copy in the office file and forgot to sign or bring the copy of the contract which he claimed he had already signed. Upon checking the next day found a forged signature of mine than I realized he had done something in order to get the company to pay the rentals on the months that was after the first contract ended. i countersigned on it making it obviously known that something was wrong with that contract somehow I forgot where it was and so kept it saying he needs to submit that to office…..I allowed him since i had already taken a snapshot of it.

While signing the new agreement he showed me another annex a document prepared by him stating they I would take care of the heater. So I immediately stopped him and remarked in the terms that to get an electrician to rectify if the damage was done by the tenant. He got agitated and I just got my contract signed and left
As far as I know he is someone
who manipulates his story and makes things difficult for ppl so I had informed him that if he try’s to do any more changes and put Me In a difficult situation I would ask him to vacate.
I refused to hand him the copy which I had was afraid he might do something with it. Upon signing the dates were changed on the back page indicating the start and end since the first page was filled by tenant the next month from the date previous contract had ended. But I informed him I cannot do that since he dragged it and cannot back date contract when the company was mentioned as one of the tenants.

He didn’t stamp the contract terminated it within 2 weeks of signing, demanded deposit to be returned, threatened to lock the unit and leave India….and in the event, I failed to comply he would just leave my unit damaged and not return SG…..Not knowing what I can do as I’m aware police can’t do anything….I managed to inform him that I will lock the gate and not let him go to the airport if I Dnt have any proof. He agreed to pay $1300 so I took the chance to state all the defects caused by him in full detail. He then suddenly took out a closure agreement and forced me to sign.

After many discussion finally, he agreed to come back and settle while I signed the termination notice which indicates he settle the Whatsapp msg by agreeing to it. Again he conned me by handing $1300 than say let me do it while going to the airport.
I trusted him and drive him over since he said he didn’t have any cash only to find out he had left my units main gate and door wide open and didn’t even bother to close anything while I was helping his parents settle their luggage……..
I rushed back and took a video of my unit which simply looks like a rubbish bin….and since I have solid evidence now filed a small claim and had informed him will make a civil case if not settled.
