I was drawing money at Woodlands 888 plaza, an indian woman was seated next to the ATM and asking every single person to give her $50 after drawing money.

Last week, i was queuing up for my turn and notice this shady woman sitting there and staring at people queueing up at the ATM. In Front of me was a young teenager and the woman stared at him intensively waiting for his withdrawal to complete. Initially in my mind i was thinking that woman was going to grab the money.

she quietly waited for the boy to finish the withdrawal and asked him

“Can you give me $50?” 

The boy ignore and went off. Soon it was my turn and the woman did the same and asked me for money. I ignored and went off. I managed to snap this picture before i leave. Please beware of people like this especially at night. You never know what they would resort to after multiple rejections.

A very good day to you, I am Zaza. We are a family of 7 – my husband, myself and our 5 children.

One of my children is under your sponsor-a-kid scheme which is ending this April 2017. I thank you for every help you’ve rendered to us.

Right now, I’m at my wits end. My husband just got terminated from his job and now is on part-time odd job basis while going for full time job interviews. Which means that we have unstable income for now.

Recently, I’ve received letters from the HDB and SP services regarding my overdue bills – HDB rental owed is $170 (plus late charges) and the SP services $239. The rent each month for our rental unit is $44 and I owed HDB 3 months.

I’m particularly worried about all the bill letters they sent recently because they will restrict our water supply and we also need to vacant our unit if we continue to owe them money.

We did try going to SSO but they wanted me to go and work and change my children’s PCF to childcare first which is a lot of documentation to do at the short period of time. So they won’t help us.

It was going to 5pm, and what initially was a happy family day outing turned into us dialing 999 for help & ended up taking statement at Cantonment Police Station. My cousin initiated this family outing, for us to shop at the Chinese New Year Bazaar at Chinatown. We met up, had a quick bite at the famous “Tong Heng” egg tart place and we started shopping.

It was pretty crowded but NOT till the extend where we were like squeezing shoulders to shoulders. Then it happened..

Then on my left, in the opposite direction, there was this man who walked past me and I felt it. I felt his entire palm & 5 fingers on my upper thigh, right next to my butt. He exerted slight pressure and all his fingers curled up & dug into my thigh, and he let go. Once I felt that touch, like a reflex action, I immediately turned and saw the back of the guy & I smacked him right on his back.

He stopped and stared at me, like everyone else around us. I shouted at him “DON’T TOUCH ME!” And he just stared back without a word. I again shouted “YOU TOUCHED ME!” And he denied by saying something like “I never!” Right behind me was T, and she shouted “KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF,
I SAW YOU TOUCH HER!”

As I’ve mentioned earlier, I was with my family & cousins and it was a big group. My male cousins were very protective of me so they stopped the guy, I’m just going to call him pervert from now. So my male cousins stopped the pervert & questioned him if he did touched me and of course the pervert denied and asked

“Where’s your proof?! Do you have proof that I touched her?!” Wah, I hear already damn angry bloody idiot. Who goes around videoing themselves to catch such incident!?

A car rental company rented out a vehicle to a driver with a “bad record”. The employee of the company of was suspicious of the guy and tailed him.

After following the driver for a while he decided to ask him to step out of the car(Honda). The driver ran over him. His injuries was not heavy.

Fortunately there was a police vehicle that was nearby and the police took action and chase the car for 5km.

After realising that the police was on his tail the Honda went into and out of Telok Blangah area 2 to 3 times. Only slowing down at a junction later on near Lower Delta Road after something went wrong with the car.

According to Shin Min, Police found a parang and medicine in the car. This was only possible after the police smash the windscreen of the vehicle with a baton to force the suspects out of the car.
