Contributor Says ‘DON’T BLAME GOVT FOR CROWDED MRT, JUST AVOID PEAK HOUR TRAVEL LAH’

smrt-disruption-450x337Wah sibei smart. If i don’t go to work on time i have to wake up earlier to go work? Or am i supposed to go later?

What kind of excuse is this for not making proper maintenance to the MRT. Hey remember we are paying for the fare for this transport service. For not providing proper service and ask the people to go work earlier etc is a complete excuse.

This is a fine example what this contributor is talking about.

Consumer: “eh my note 7 charge to 100% will explode”

Company: “then charge to 90% la”

So i’m’ suppose to pay for a product or service and get less?

” We have to seek mutual understanding that the trains indeed belongs to all of us, but we have to really choose among ourselves as to who to take the train and who to seek other form of public transport. “

mai kong jiao wei la. Don’t talk c**k with me. If it’s possible i believe many have already do so rather than complaining online. If the MRT is not a crucial part of Singapore’s infrastructure it would not have caused such a huge hoo-hah. It’s like you’re saying elevator only serve to the 8th floor. Oh the rest of the 92 floors you have to take stairs.

Think you sell chicken rice ah? today chicken rice sell finish go eat duck rice?

Who has the luxury of using so much time to take 5-6bus to go work?

A casual user of Uber had a promotion code for a higher discount than regular user

Dear Singapore Uncensored,

I used to take Uber frequently, I regularly receive email updates from Uber, updating us on the latest promo codes. I appreciate that they offer rebates as such to us returning customers. Until recently.

My friend and I had received new promo codes from them BUT, different promo codes this time sent to both of us. My friend, a casual user of Uber had a promo code for a higher discount then me, someone who takes uber way more frequent then her. And she has taken uber less then 5 times mind you.

My friend suggested me to enter her higher discount promo code into my account instead but was rejected when it says “promo code not valid”. Stunned. Call me a cheapskate all you want, but you all know too, this shouldn’t be the way to run a business.

Thank you uber, for rewarding your regular customer in such a way. I’m disappointed. But then again, thank you for giving me a chance to try out other car companies. Never am I gonna call a cab from you anymore.

To all my FB friends, if you travel a lot or going to travel soon. Do check your passport (all pages), make sure there is no tear marks or else you have high chances that you can’t access in to any of other country.

I was stuck at immigration half a day just to to get help, most of time the officer will not let you enter their country and will ask you to buy your immediate return ticket.
