My friend who was driving was asked to exit his vehicle to take a breathalyser test.

He last consumed alcohol more than 24 hours before being pulled over yet the device “detected alcohol”. He was told he could drive home, but if he got into an accident on the way home, he would be arrested for drink driving! This is absolutely ridiculous! Are the tests rigged to be extra sensitive?

How is it possible that 24 hours after having a drink, you can still be arrested for drink driving if an accident occurs?

I understand that the Traffic Police are simply doing their jobs and I respect them for making our roads safer. However, their planning needs to be improved and proper protocol followed so residents and innocent motorists are not affected. Also, the breathalyser tests clearly need to be examined to ensure false readings are not obtained. I wonder how many innocent drivers have been made a victim of false readings?

Last night at midnight, there was a road block by the Traffic Police on Lorong 101 Changi.

This happens regularly. However, the road block usually occurs just before the right turn onto Langsat Road. This ensures that residents staying on Langsat Road, Everitt Road, Lorong 102 – 108 Changi are able to turn right onto Langsat Road to get home after being checked by the Traffic Police.

Yesterday, however, the road block was moved further down Lorong 101 Changi. This created several issues. First, Lorong 101 Changi is a single lane road. With the road block and cars pulled over, unnecessary congestion occurred. At the wider Langsat Road junction, this does not happen. Next, cars pulled over blocked residents coming out of Park Court condominium. Also, the back exit from Joo Chiat centre was blocked.

Finally, residents were not allowed to turn right onto Langsat to get home.

They had to drive further down the one way Lorong 101 Changi and stop at the road block, causing congestion and blocking exits and then make a big detour to get back home. I asked the ranking officer, Staff Sergeant, why the road block was located at such an inconvenient location. He said he decided to do it there this particular night.

Is there no official or authorised protocol that is properly planned to ensure while the TP does their jobs, residents are not affected and other road users can avoid unnecessary congestion?

Her Modus Operandi:
Either you post requesting for a service/item and she privately messages you, or like the selling of apparels, she would post up copied pictures from blogshops and offer good prices which will then tempt you into buying from her. Negotiations will occur before she asks to WhatsApp her.

Once payment is made usually transferred to either a Maybank, OCBC or POSB bank account/ ibanking , item/service is not delivered and when contacted, will start to give 1001 excuses. Her more popular excuses are

• 1) blame the ‘friend’ for money that is not refunded,
• 2) say that she is overseas. for eg in Dubai, JB,
• 3) Daughter/son/friend’s child is sick and in hospital 4) some kind of case happened and she is currently at the police station.

This post is done up by a group of victims of this lady and we have made individual police reports. Currently, we are waiting for updates to the investigation but as we saw that she has been posting at more Facebook pages selling various items and since Ramadhan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri is around the corner, we wanted to avoid more people getting cheated by her.

Therefore, we hope that the admins of this page will ban her to stop her from selling anymore. We also hope that the public would take a more proactive stance and share this post to bring awareness of her cheating acts. For credibility, we have also included our police reports for your perusal and screenshots of Facebook posts made by victims.

For those who have yet to make payment to her, our advice is to just cancel the purchase. For those who are currently waiting or have made the payment, if it has already exceeded the grace period, please make a police report or you may join the group of us making a mass police report tomorrow evening. I am writing this post on behalf of all whose daily life is affected due to some inconsiderate rebellious young teenagers who is lack of family guidance.

I have attached pictures which i have took this morning, the neighbours living at BLK 317C YISHUN AVE 9, 6TH FLOOR, will not find this scene unfamiliar, with litters and cigarrette butts on the floor of the lift lobby, rubbish laying around the floor on the rubbish chute area, urine on the floor and etc.

Things do not get better after several police reports made and complaint letters/emails to Town Council, MP and HDB etc, infact things got worse.

We can see different groups of students wearing NORTHLAND SECONDAY SCHOOL uniform gathering outside this unit #06-XXX everyday, you can see couples doing obscene acts like touching each other in the public.

The cleaner complain seeing used CONDOMS being thrown at the corridors area.

On Monday night, they left 2 turtles in a syrofoam box and the water is very dirty with cigarrette butts and urine smell near the rubbish chute area.

Next morning, one of the turtles had died, and the whole rubbish chute area stinks! How can they be so cruel! Really hope something can be done soon and regain the peaceful life we once had
