On the phone, he said it will only cost $40 since we already bought the part. Guess what? After reaching he told us that your toilet bowl is beyond repair and “I have to replace the whole thing for $400+ inclusive of GST.”

We told him that it was too expensive and we won’t want it. He ROTI PRATA SUDDENLY CAN REPAIR.

He started saying maybe I can try fixing the toilet but it would cost $200 inclusive of GST. Again this guy tell us? After failing to charge us for 400+ he wants to charge us for $200. I decline and asked him to leave.

An engineer got caught taking upskirt videos of woman in MRT and got setenced to 16 weeks of jail time.

The engineer has been identified by the name of Jan Benedict Mendoza Fuellas from the Philippines. In the court hearing a 24 year old saw Fuellas standing close to a girl and and did the videoing. He was caught on Aug 19 2016 at Bukit Panjang around 7.20pm.

The 24 year old stop Fuellas and reported him to the train’s control station. Fuellas tried to hide the videos from his previous acts with a password to lock the files. But after further probing, he gave away the password and the 38 videos.

I’m a resident of Macpherson living at Circuit Road but working at Old Airport Road Food Centre when I was being assaulted for no reason by a cleaner from China at Meridien Cleaning Service on 3 Apr 17.

I had asked her politely to help clear the soiled cups and dishes as it was fast accumulating and the birds would come and feast, defecating in the process which can cause cross contamination. This is also the case at most other Hawker Centres in MPTC.

However, I did not expect to receive a rude shock from her by cursing me to “have s*ex with my mother” which I found most insulting. Not satisfied, she then grabs the nearby bowls and utensils and threw them at me. I sustained a cut and bruises as a result.

I called but police said they can’t help me due to it being a non-sizable offence and NEA/MOM said they can only give a warning. I will have to pay if I wish to take this to a Magistrate.

I’m shocked firstly, of the way our Country is managed at the mercy of foreigners and lastly, by laws that are inadequate to deal with Public Order offences where money is the only way to secure Justice!
