Correspondents met the casualty and his mom in their house in Potong Pasir yesterday. The casualty conceded that he hung out with the attackers “gathering” and insulted the attacker’s parents.

The casualty said that he met with his aggressors to settle “a few issues” however did not say whatever else in regards to them.

The optional 2 casualty, who gave an announcement to the police on Sunday, included: “I’m not irate at him (the kid who stamped to his left side thigh). It has as of now happened.”

My childhood sweet heart has been with me for a long time. For the past 10 years since secondary school days the relationship has been true love my whole life. I got married with her at the age of 25 and life was good.

i calmly asked her “you marry me for money or love”. She said one word “MONEY”

I walked off and cut every single branded stuff i bought for her and pack the bags and tell her to get out of my house.

I asked her since we were together in the past we never had much chance to visit high class restaurants. Is it because i started to make more money and i spoiled her til she rot to the core. Truly money is the root of evil.

A lightning strike hit two storey bungalow roof in 9 sunset place clementi and caught fire on Thursday (10 November 2016).

A neighbour said: “I was in her house when i heard a really loud clap and saw a bolt of lightning hitting the ground. “The whole roof was gutted, completely charred,”

Domestic helper Evelyn Altuna 36 years old said: “i heard a loud bang before the fire. My employer’s son saw the smoke and asked me to take a look, after the fire started, the electricity in our house was cut.”

An other neighbour said: “lightning is very common in the neighbourhood, two incidents in 2015 and in 1992 caused a surge in electricity and appliances including my cordless phone to be burnt.”

There were no reported injuries. SCDF said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Indonesia navy caught a boat smuggling large quantity of old SAF No.4 uniform on Wednesday (09 November 2016) unloading goods near pulau galang, an island located 40km southeast of batam.

Tanjung pinang naval base commander, first admiral s irawan said:

“There were a total of 19 large quantity of smuggled goods ranging from used electronic equipment, such as television sets and washing machines. One among the 19 quantity carried only military attire, including combat boots, that he believed were SAF-issued items.”

“The question now is why that much military attire is being sent to Batam…we will investigate,”

The unauthorised sale of SAF uniforms or equipment is an offence under military law in Singapore. Those guilty of misappropriation or theft of SAF property can be jailed for up to three years.

Both the captain and driver of the boat are being held in tanjung pinang for questioning.
