It was stated that the chef of the stall tasted the soup with the cooking ladle instead of a separate spoon. It was alleged that he was not wearing his face mask when he was cooking as well.

“I’m *** here just want to share my experience today. Today around 6 pm me and my friend like to have dinner at Mala Hot Pot located SingPost payah lebar Square. And yes we are put an order but once we see the cooker taste the soup that he prepare and used the ladle to taste it , he’s not using other spoon 🥄 to taste it,, it really make us lost appetite. Some more he no used mask 😷”
