A video of a child dashing out onto the road is circulating on social media.
From the video, the child was seen dashing out onto the road barefooted and continue to run for a short distance. Thankfully, the driver managed to spot the child and slowed down behind the child making sure that the child was safe.
After a while, a man was seen running past the car and carried the child away from danger.
The video has received over more than 200 comments and almost 1000 shares after it was posted.
From the comments, many netizens have criticised the parents of the child for their negligence. Some have even shared a post which allegedly is from the mother of the child.

“My handyman was doing CCTV and had forgotten to close the gate and my lil Trevor ran out of the house while I was in the room and when I saw he was nowhere at home, I dashed out and to the area next to my home, eg to the pond without even wearing anything on my feet. So worried for him! Handyman also ran out to look for him. But little did I know, he went on another direction and straight to the main road of Pasir Ris Drive 1. At the pond, people were looking at me running with no shoes and no mask. There were no signs of him. I decided to make a U-turn and was running when I saw a couple holding him with Thierry and handyman very near to my home. My heart was thumping real fast. To the Malay couple who found him dash across through the road and came out of the car & saved him, words cannot be described how I am feeling.. I am thankful, appreciative and I dont know what to say.. I could have lost him… He has no sense of danger as he is a special child.. To the couple who saved his life, please come forward.. I was too shocked and could not say anything much earlier besides May Allah bless you both.. Please share this around.. I really wanna find this kind-hearted couple.. “
