Video footage shared on social media has shown passengers arriving at a customs area with people pulling luggage. The background of the video captures signs in Chinese written as “Nothing to declare” were seen in the background. It is unclear if it is an airport or a train station.
A large group of people wearing masks were seen “shepherd” through and a few resist and started scuffling with hazmat-suited police forcing them to surrender to quarantine facilities.
Even an elderly man was not spared and he could be seen dragged on the group by one of the man in a Hazmat suit.
This is not the first time such videos have been circulating on the internet.
The China authorities take it very seriously and often use force against those who refuse to adhere to the country’s strict regimes on COVID-19.
Previously, there was a separate video of a group of men fighting with the Police in Shanghai after they refused to be taken into quarantine.
China’s policy on COVID-19 has not changed and it remains with its zero covid policy.
The following video was previously uploaded on Dou Yin but quickly taken down.
