CHINATOWN COMPLEX STALL OWNER & SON INFECTED WITH COVID-19, BOTH DO NOT HAVE TRACETOGETHER

According to the latest COVID-10 news from the Ministry of Health, a man running a shop at Chinatown was found infected with COVID-19. His son who works at Changi Airport Terminal 3’s Swensen is also infected as well.

Since the beginning of February, many people have gone to Chinatown to during the festive season to buy Lunar New Year Goods and photo of crowds in Chinatown has become a debatable topic with some saying “not very smart”.

The father and son were cases confirmed on 11 Feb 2021.

Out of the 3 community cases, two are the father and son.

The father is a 66-year-old permanent resident and the son is a 32-year-old Singaporean

The father is a stall owner doing sundry business at 355 smith street and started showing symptoms since Jan 28 but continued working in the stall at Chinatown Complex, he finally lost his sense of smell on Feb 9. He was only tested positive on Feb 10.

  3. 30 Jan (Sat): 4.30-7.30pm

  5. 1 Feb (Mon): 3.30-8.30pm
  6. 2 Feb (Tues): 12.30-7.30pm
  7. 3 Feb (Wed): 2.30-8pm
  8. 4 Feb (Thurs): 2-8.30pm
  9. 5 Feb (Fri): 2.30-8.15pm
  10. 6 Feb (Sat): 4-7pm
  11. 7 Feb (Sun): 11.30am-7.30pm
  12. 8 Feb (Mon): 1-7.15pm
  13. 9 Feb (Tues): 3-7.30pm
  14. 10 Feb (Wed): 2-3.30pm

Swensen case

The timings of the 32-year-od man’s visit are:

  1. 7 Feb (Sun): 9am-5pm
  2. 8 Feb (Mon): 9am-5pm

Both father and son didn’t bother using a TraceTogether App and Device. They received the device but did not bring it along with them.
