CONSTRUCTIONS & RENOVATIONS TO RESUME WITH BCA APPROVAL STARTING 02 JUNE

Since the introduction of the circuit breaker, many renovation and construction projects are forced to stop. Only those critical infrastructure that concern safety issues are allowed to continue.

According to a press release by the Building Construction Authority (BCA), these constructions and renovations will slowly be allowed to resume their operations starting from 02 Jun 2020. However, approvals are required from the BCA before companies can resume their work.

Additional measures and control is introduced to keep the current COVID-19 situation under control and to prevent a second wave of outbreak among construction workers.

Employers are required to make sure that their workforce, workplace and transport are COVID-Safe before they are allowed to resume their operations.
