COUPLE SAYS “PERFECT WEDDINGS” ARE NOTHING BUT DEBTS ON TOP OF HDB

When I got married, I was determined to have the perfect wedding. I wanted to make sure that my special day was perfect in every way. I wanted to dress in the most elaborate gown, have a beautiful venue, and make sure that everything was perfect.

But, in the end, I realized that having the perfect wedding was nothing but a debt on top of my HDB.

I already had a mortgage on my HDB flat, but I wanted to make my wedding extra special. To do that, I had to spend a lot more money. I had to rent a lavish venue, hire a caterer, buy flowers and decorations, and rent a photographer.

All of these things added up to a hefty sum. I ended up having to take out a loan to cover the costs of my wedding.

At the time, it seemed like a good idea. I thought that the beautiful wedding I was planning was worth the debt. But, in hindsight, I realize that it was a mistake. Not only did I end up with a large amount of debt, but I also had to spend a lot of time and energy planning the wedding. It was stressful and exhausting.

In the end, I decided to forgo the lavish wedding I had originally planned and instead opted for a more modest celebration. I still wanted to make my wedding special, but I wanted to do it without going into debt. I was able to do this by cutting back on some of the costs. I rented a smaller venue, opted for a simpler menu, and went for a more casual dress. I was still able to have a beautiful and special wedding, but I was able to do it without having to take out a loan.

Perfect weddings are not worth the debt.

It is possible to have a beautiful wedding without going into debt. You just need to be more creative and find ways to cut back on expenses. You can also ask family and friends for help. Many people are willing to lend a hand and will be more than happy to contribute to your special day.

In the end, it is up to you to decide what kind of wedding you want to have. If you want a lavish affair, then you may need to take out a loan. But, if you want to have a more modest celebration, then you can do it without taking on debt. The important thing is to make sure that whatever you choose, it is something that makes you happy and that you can afford.

At the end of the day, having the perfect wedding is not worth the debt. It is possible to have a beautiful and special wedding without taking out a loan.

All it takes is some creativity, a little bit of help from family and friends, and a commitment to staying within your budget.
