
The Ministry of Health said that a cleaner from Yishun North Point City cluster was diagnosed with the COVID-19, so far the authorities have more than 10 confirmed cases that are related to the cluster, resulting in a total of 15 cases in the cluster.
The Ministry of Health issued a statement yesterday (3rd) that the Case 17783 is a 57-year-old local woman who works as a cleaner in Yishun North Point City. She started to have symptoms on April 28 and was tested positive for the coronavirus on the 2nd of May.
The announcement also stated that through further contact tracing work, ten confirmed cases were found to be related to the Yishun North Point cluster. The report did not provide details of the ten cases.
In addition, the Ministry of Health stated that as of 12 noon yesterday, the 13 new cases in the community included 10 Singapore citizens or permanent residents and three work permit holders.
