According to the Ministry of Health, infectious individuals who were tested positive for COVID-19 visited a number of public places.

The Ministry of Health released the location as follows:
- Prive restaurant located at Paragon Mall
- Kinokuniya at Takashimaya Shopping Centre
- Zara at 313@Somerset
- Cedele out at VivoCity and Ikea Alexandra
Individuals who were at the listed locations should monitor their health for at least 14 days. The health ministry added that there is no need to avoid places.
Two community cases were reported on Jan 5 2020 among the 28 cases. The total cases is at 58,749.
