A video emerged online showing an Audi speeding and beating a red light and almost crashing into a girl who was crossing the road.

The Audi only managed to narrowly miss the pedestrian, who stopped just in the nick of time to avoid becoming a road fatality statistic.
The video was captured on another car’s dashcam and the incident happened on 30 December on Lentor Avenue.
The girl was seen crossing the road and looking at her phone but she managed to stop just in time as the speeding Audi sped past her.
The traffic light for pedestrians was flashing green at the time, indicating that the red light for cars had been on for quite some time.

This incident could’ve turned into a real tragedy if the girl hadn’t been alert enough to stop in time.
