The body was found around 7.50pm near the airport’s luxury limousine area by a passer-by. Authorities believe the victim, estimated to be in her 20s, had been dead for about a week before she was discovered.

Victim wore distinctive clothing

When found, the woman was fully clothed in a white T-shirt with the words “Fear Less” (size XS) and cream-coloured cargo shorts (size XL). Her remains were badly decomposed, with the head incomplete and only the skull intact.

KLIA Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Azman Shariat confirmed that no identification documents were recovered at the scene, and the victim’s identity has yet to be established.

A post-mortem carried out at Serdang Hospital revealed four suspicious injuries, leading police to classify the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which covers murder.

Police appeal for information

The motive remains unclear, but investigators are urging members of the public to assist in identifying the victim. Families with missing loved ones matching the description have been asked to contact Deputy Superintendent Tee Ah Chew at 018-218-3555 or approach the nearest police station.

Authorities are particularly asking for help from anyone who recognises the T-shirt or has seen the victim in the vicinity of the airport in recent weeks.

Rising concern over safety

This case comes amid growing unease over violent crimes in Malaysia, especially those involving unidentified victims. Similar incidents in recent months have highlighted the challenges investigators face in tracing missing persons and ensuring timely identification.

Police have assured the public that they are prioritising the investigation and are working to piece together the victim’s final movements.

The discovery has shocked residents and travellers in the KLIA area, with many calling for enhanced security and surveillance in and around the airport.
