Recently, a Singapore Special breed dog who goes by the name of Oreo went missing at Changi Airport after it had escaped from a crate which was due to be loaded into Singapore Airlines Flight SQ38 to Los Angeles.
This sparked calls for help and a search was mounted by the owner of Oreo together with staff working at Changi Airport.
An update on the Oreo was published by her owner on Facebook today, which announced that after 9 days and 842 members involved in the search, Oreo has finally been found.
For those curious about the whereabouts of Oreo, the owner has mentioned in her update that Oreo has never left the Airport premises.
Here is the update posted by the owner
“9 days, 842 search group members (& counting), countless social media postings and 800 islandwide flyers later, Oreo is finally found and home 😭🐕🦺♥️
For many nights and days, I did not know if this is ever going to end well, so I have nothing but gratitude and love for my family, friends and the AMAZING community who pitched in in one way or another to keep the search going, and for keeping me sane, alive and positive.
Today is truly the happiest day of my life ♥️ my world is complete again.
P.S. for those curious, our baby never left the airport premises – she outbeat all doggos and stayed in there for 9 long days 🥲”
