A man was seen getting abit too drunk and started to get physical by the Police. Bystanders were watching and laughing at the drunk man who was out of control.
When officers arrived, the man was allegedly shouting and behaving aggressively whilst drunk, and was arrested by officers. The man was subsequently arrested.

The man was clearly drunk and the officer on the left was trying hard to clam the man down but he suddenly got physical.
The officers were also seen taking a pair of handcuffs out and arresting him after he was pinned to the ground.
Potential Penalties.
The offence of using criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his or her duty, under Section 353 of the Penal Code 1871 carries an imprisonment term of up to four years, a fine, or both.
Using abusive words towards a public servant under Section 6(3) of the Protection from Harassment Act, Chapter 256A. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to 12 months, a fine not exceeding $5000, or both.
Causing annoyance whilst drunk, under Section 14(2)(b) of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to six months, a fine not exceeding $1000, or both.
The Police have zero tolerance towards such brazen acts of violence towards Police officers or public servants carrying out their duties. The Police will not hesitate to take firm action against those who endanger the public safety and the safety of our officers.
