According to the media release, a 23-year-old Malaysian Arvinish N Ramakrishnan was caught riding his motorbike while he was intoxicated.
The incident began on the 19 of April 2020 at Yishun Central Blk 325, Arvinish invited his friend named Siddhartha Gauthma A/L Robat over to his flat to have a drink from around 12 am to 3 am.
Arvinish then offered to send his friend home who stay nearby at Block 288, Yishun Avenue 6.
When he was on his way at Yishun Avenue 6, he was caught by traffic police officers and told to blow the breathalyzer and he was found with 43mgs of alcohol which exceeded the laws limit which is 35mgs.
Arvinish will return to court on the 27 May 2020.
For drinking driving/riding, he faces up to 1-year jail and/or fined of $2,000 to $10,000.
For flouting circuit breaker rules he is facing up to 6months jail, up to $10,000 fine or both
