Citing ‘operational issues’, Dunkin’ Donuts will be shutting all its outlets in Singapore temporarily with effect from today (23 Feb).
In a Facebook post made by the American donut and coffee chain franchise, it said that they take the health of their team and their customers as their utmost priority.
It did not indicate when will operations resume but said that it may take up to a week and that all outlets in Singapore will be closed until further notice.
Will refund customers
Customers who still have outstanding orders with Dunkin’ Donuts will be contacted by the franchise and will be given a full refund for their outstanding orders.
No reason was given for their sudden announcement of their temporary closure.
First opened in 2009 in Singapore
Dunkin’ Donuts first outlet in Singapore was opened in 2009 at ION Orchard.
Ever since the first outlet was opened, 18 other outlets were opened islandwide in separate locations such as Ang Mo Kio Hub, Plaza Singapura, Jewel Changi Airport as well as Harbourfront Centre.
