A lady was defrauded of over S$80,000 in the wake of giving her own data and saving money subtle elements on a fake Singapore Police Force (SPF) site, said the police in an admonitory issued on Wednesday (Sept 21).

The 41-year-old lady had gotten a call from an obscure individual guaranteeing to be a cop.

The guest had claimed that the lady was included in government evasion exercises, and she was furnished with a connection to a site to enter in her own points of interest and web managing an account qualifications, purportedly for examination purposes.

Along these lines, the casualty found that her web keeping money record was gotten to unlawfully and various unapproved exchanges were made, bringing about lost over S$80,000.
