The family’s breadwinner earns a five-figure salary and the wife says they are a middle-income family who needs financial help from the government. The family consists of the mother, father, 3 kids and 1 maid.
The family spends their money on things like medication, whom the wife needs. She recently had a heart transplant and are paying slightly above $1000 every 6 months. They would also have to pay for education for the eldest son, who has to pay $1800 per semester and also support the daughter, who CCA is sailing, about $300-400 a year. This excludes the cost of having a maid.
She claims she is of ‘middle-income’ and that she is suffering from paying the expenses. Her salary exceeded the maximum income they could qualify for financial assistance. They hoped that they could get some assistance from when Budget 2018 is announced.
