A 22-year-old man was arrested for drink driving following a fiery car crash that involved a van in Jurong Hill.
The terrifying crash resulted in 4 people suffering burn injuries and conveyed to hospital.
The van had apparently lost control and crashed into some bushes before it flipped over.
7 people were reportedly inside the vehicle, including one who was covered in help and frantically asking for help after escaping from the burning crash.
Thick black smoke could be seen billowing out of the vehicle.
The SCDF said that they received an alert to the vehicle fire at about 7.30pm.
“The fire involved the entire van and SCDF extinguished the fire with a water jet,” he said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
The four injured passengers, aged between 17 and 21, were taken to the hospital conscious.
