
The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported in a press released on November 28 that a 68-year-old man has died from Covid-19 related complications, becoming the first Covid-19 related death in Singapore since October 12.
The man travelled to Indonesia on March 10 for work related reasons and returned to Singapore on November 17.
He was experiencing shortness of breath and was admitted to hospital upon his arrival.
He was confirmed to have been infected with the coronavirus on November 18, along with a history of heart disease and hypertension.
The cause of death has since been labelled at ischaemic heart disease with Covid-19 by a pathologist.
As of today (November 28), there have been 29 deaths arising from Covid-19 locally.
