FORMER NATIONAL FOOTBALLER HAFIZ RAHIM PASSES AWAY

Earlier today, on the morning of July 9, former national footballer Hafiz Rahim passed away after being involved in a traffic accident in Tampines on his motorcycle.

He was 36 years old and leaves behind his wife and three children.

Hafiz made over 200 league appearances and played for Geylang United, Tampines Rovers, Home United, Warriors FC and Gombak United, scoring the winning goal in the 2009 Singapore Club finals for Geylang United as well as the winning for for Warriors FC that won them the league title.
