My best friend had just thrown me under the bus. We had been friends for years, since childhood, and I had always thought that we had a strong bond that couldn’t be broken.
I had put all of my trust in her and thought of her as family. But when trouble came, she decided that I was no longer worth her time and threw me under the bus.
Made me do something, then ran away when I got caught
It all started when I got caught up in a situation that I did not plan on getting myself into. I had made a mistake that had led to some small trouble with the authorities which could be settled by paying off a fine.
She was there when it happened as she was the one who asked me to accompany her, but then when the authorities approached, she ran away as fast as she could, leaving me there to answer to the authorities myself.
After the authorities issued me a fine, I went to look for my best friend, expecting her to be there for me and maybe compensate me a little because she was the one that made me follow her to do it.
She promised that she would help me to pay the fine but instead after a few days, she told me that it had nothing to do with her and I was dumb to get caught myself.
She also said that I should have ran away with her and not stand there to face the consequences and she would not be helping me with the fine.
Learnt an important lesson on trust and friendship
My friend’s actions showed me that she did not care about my wellbeing, and that she was only looking out for herself. She was willing to throw me under the bus in order to save her own skin.
She was willing to sacrifice our friendship in order to avoid any consequences that may have come her way. It was an eye-opening experience that shattered my trust and faith in her.
I thought long and hard about the situation and came to the realization that my best friend was not the person I thought she was.
She was a selfish person who did not care about anyone but herself. She was willing to betray me in order to get out of a situation, and that showed me her true colors.
I had been betrayed by the person I trusted most, and it was a difficult pill to swallow. I had to accept the fact that my best friend was not the person I thought she was, and that she was willing to put her own interests above mine.
It was an unfortunate situation, but it taught me an important lesson about trust and friendship.
