From First Love to Betrayal: The Heartbreaking Story of Ian Fang’s Victim Who Got Used

In a shocking revelation following the conviction of former Mediacorp actor Ian Fang, who received a 40-month prison sentence for engaging in sexual activities with a then-15-year-old girl, the victim has bravely come forward to share her experience. Through a series of text messages to 8world News, she expressed her initial belief that Fang was her “first love,” only to later realize that he had exploited her for his own desires.

Fang, who was 34 at the time of their meeting in May 2024, was an acting teacher at a child modeling school, where he interacted with students as young as four. The victim, who referred to him as “Teacher Fang,” described how she was drawn to his perceived maturity and felt a sense of safety around him. Their relationship, though never officially acknowledged, was marked by romantic gestures such as hand-in-hand walks and supermarket trips, which she initially interpreted as signs of affection.

However, the reality of their encounters soon became clear. Each meeting culminated in sexual activity, leading the girl to feel used rather than cherished. Reflecting on her experience, she lamented, “He made me fall from light to darkness,” expressing deep regret for having met him.

The victim’s mother also shared her concerns about the relationship, noting that Fang would go out of his way to impress her daughter, even running blocks to buy her bubble tea. He had even tattooed her lip print on his shoulder, a gesture that now feels tainted by the betrayal.

The turning point came when the girl’s mother discovered the truth and reported Fang to the police on August 3, 2024. This revelation prompted the victim to confront the reality of Fang’s manipulative behavior, leading to emotional turmoil that resulted in self-harm and a stay at the Institute of Mental Health for treatment.

Despite the ongoing struggle with her mental health, the victim is determined to rise above her experience. She has taken to social media to share her story, hoping to warn others about the dangers of manipulation and exploitation in relationships. “Since I fell, I will stand up bravely and will be a hundred times more cautious about people and relationships in the future,” she stated, embodying resilience in the face of adversity.

As the community grapples with the implications of this case, the victim’s courage to speak out serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of awareness and support for those who have experienced similar situations.
