A video emerged online showing a guy being confronted by a couple of gangsters for having a “problem” with his friend, before being beaten up.
The gangster in black, was heard in the video asking “who is this Alan guy, why got problem with Ang?”, before asking “who here is named Alan? Own up!”
To which the guy in the video said: “Me ah!”
The gangster then suddenly threw a punch at the guy and asked him “you want dodge ah? You want punch me now? you want, come take me ah!”
He then asked him how old he was, to which the guy said he was 19 – the gangster then felt very proud as he said that he was only 18.
The next cut of the video shows another gangster in white raining blows on the other guy as he covered his head.
Potential penalties
According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
According to Chapter 321 of the Penal Code, anyone who performs an act that causes hurt to a person is guilty of Voluntarily Causing Hurt.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
